I ordered take away. The baked beans looked like something from a can. There was something gooey around the beans. I figured it was from the jelly like thing that comes out from cans. I had the worst case of food poisoning. I can only imagine what was in those beans.

I’m from out of town and I was told to get a garbage plate from here, by a coworker from the area. Food was good, but the garbage plate was a bit of a gamble two hours before a flight… sometimes you just have to go ALL in.

Good plate and food options. Orders are always correct. My ONLY complaint is that EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, that comes out of the fryer is 3-4 minutes under cooked. It all disintegrates in a plate, even when I request it well done. Why can’t they leave it in the fryer an extra few minutes?

I kept driving by this place for work and always thought that the Wimpy’s sign reminded me of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid font. I finally passed it around lunchtime and gave it a try. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich with fries. The fries were hot, fresh, and crispy. I actually prefer no salt, so I can add my own, so this was a plus for me. The sandwich roll was soft, and the insides cooked perfectly. Perhaps a little more seasoning on the meat, but that’s the minor-est of dings. It was good. I look forward to trying something else on their extensive menu. Others food looked appetizing, and the wait time was super short. I’m not overly fond of bottle only drinks, but I can’t penalize a diners rating over such a small thing when several popular restaurants in and around Rochester do the same. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean. So overall, very good. Keep up the good work.

Pricey, yes. Slow service, yes. But worth the price and the wait. Don’t get the double cheese burger unless you plan on sitting around for a couple of days…..its a lot of beef… couldn’t leave it uneaten.

I have been coming here since my college years and it has only gotten better! The atmosphere went from being a hole in the wall with dollar bills on the walls to a nice clean area! The food has always been on point and the service has always been amazing! I bring my wife here now and we come here every time we come to Rochester. And to have the the world’s greatest theater across the street? Even better!

This is our first time there. Garbage plate, milkshake and the burger was good. We had stake sub. It was not good at all. It was just meat and cheese sauce. quesadilla was not ok. But not the best. Price was very reasonable.
