Went in with friends as a 1st timer. Friends ordered the Greek Panni and the #5 club sandwich with fries. The chicken and waffles were both hot and cooked to order. I asked for an extra crispy waffle with hot syrup and a not so hard tenders. The waffle was perfect with the hot syrup. The tenders on the other hand was not that good. 1st I got tenders too hards and second set wasn’t as hard but rubbery. They aren’t fresh tenders but instead a pre-packaged type of tenders. I would have come out better ordering an order of the wings and the waffle separate. The kitchen closed at 2:30p so I could not order anything else. The cold slaw was really watery and had alot of carrots and one bite was enough. I gave a 4 star because the food for my friends was good and the service by Lisa was exceptional. I highly recommend updating the chicken tenders.

Stumbled on this gem on a late, rainy Sunday evening. When you pull up in the dark, it’s not very lit and looks very unassuming – do NOT let that fool you. The Restaurant is very clean and comfortable with an almost diner atmosphere. We were immediately greeted and seated. Staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The food was 5star chef’s kiss!! Food is well seasoned and flavorful. Throughout our meal, the staff was constantly checking on us and asking how we liked the food. My husband had a delicious Hickory Burger and I had salmon in a bed of delicious risotto – delicious. It’s a shame we live over an hour away or we would be here all the time. Food – excellent and staff/management even better.

Many go for the breakfast,huevos rancheros are awesome, but they all need to go for the dinner. One of the best meals we have had in Mcdonough in awhile. The shrimp and grits were fantastic. Super creamy with layers of flavor. The pork belly was what stole the show. Beautiful char on the outside paired with mashed sweet potatoes and broccolini cooked to perfection. I would never have thought to pair these three items together personally. Well color me surprised they meld beautifully into a perfect dish that will have you saying “Wow”. Went back a week later and once again excellent. We tried new items, the baked chicken and mushroom risotto and the grilled salmon on a bed of wild rice. Both were great!

We started coming here after they had moved. We come during their evening dinner time. Amazing! The food is phenomenal. We love to try new flavors and they have it. We’ve tried everything that was new and not on their printed menu yet. We have tried everything on their menu at least once. They started introducing new meals every other week. They always ask the opinions of the food. The service has been fantastic since day one. The hostess, waitresses, chef and manager have always been accommodating and very service oriented. They aim to please. We have also been here during their breakfast time, different group of people equally focused on their great food and service. My dad loves to come here for dinner. He enjoys the atmosphere, food and wait staff. We are always pleasantly greeted by Zoe, the hostess. Then promptly seated by either Sabrinna or Emani. They quickly get our drink orders and then provide the specials for the week. Shortly thereafter, we get our food orders prepared by Gerard, Lucas and or Marieli. Ernesto, the manager, along with the wait staff come by and check. They also make sure your food is what was expected and made with care and attention. The food is amazing. Come by and say hi. They would love to share with you their amazing food, prepared by renowned chef. You will have to ask him when you come in, it’s an amazing story and his food preparation proves his experience and creativeness.

I can’t find anything negative to say about Leo’s Cafe. When the wife and I arrived here I saw how packed it was inside. I was thinking we’d be waiting forever for a table and forever to get our meal. I was blown away that we got a table right away and our food came less than ten minutes after we ordered. The customer service is phenomenal! Family members of Leo were so attentive and not in an annoying way. Both our meals were plenty good and we had to take some home because their portions are more than adequate. My hats off to the cooks who made our meal perfect. My wife and I will be going back Sunday for their amazing breakfast meals. It’ll be our first try at that and I’m sure it’ll be just as good as our lunch we had.

Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time on Saturday, November 29th, 2025. My cousins treated me there for breakfast since it was my last day in Georgia. I am leaving today. I would like to beat the Thanksgiving rush back home on the highway. I ordered a belgium waffle with chicken fingers, without the added powdered sugar, which is added calories, my cousins ordered other things. I also ordered hot chocolate and no whipped cream. I also wanted to try other things on the menu, however I cannot eat everything, lol. Plus I always have a hard time deciding what I want to eat. I had asked for sugar free syrup but I never received it. When the lady associate asked how our food was, I mentioned the sugar free syrup that I never received. She said she would bring it out and I said it was too late.. I had already eaten the waffle without syrup. She was saying that she should have circled our table earlier and asked if everything was ok. I must say that the staff is attentive and they always ask and they come around to your table to ask if everything is ok. There is a good vibe here. I heard that the cafe is family owned and that the members of the family work here. I observed that as we waited for a table, there were other people waiting for a table as well. My food was good and I asked for a box since I could not eat all the chicken fingers. Jay was with us as well. Donna did not come. She does not eat breakfast. No receipt since I did not pay for the food. I would return if I am in the area again. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.

We came in during a really busy time and were pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went! The wait was short, the customer service was excellent, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. You can tell they know how to handle a rush without compromising quality. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend!

Very personalized dining experience! Staff was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions on the menu. Food was delicious! We had the 10oz steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus and fried green tomatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender!!
