Nice and clean restaurant with great service. Food came out fast and very fresh. Only thing was the lack of variety in bbq sauce. They only had one option, which was mustard based, and just not what I prefer. The open faced brisket sandwich was great and serving size was pleasantly more than I expected.

First visit, sides were cold, meat and sausage was warm at best, brisket a little dry and warm even after adding sauce. Service was good, atmosphere enjoyable. Ordered 2 meats with tea. Don’t go during lunch as you will not find a place to park or sit down. 1pm is good.

This is literally the perfect barbecue restaurant. I often make a 30 minute drive to come here because it’s worth it.
The main sauce they give you is more tomato-like they have a second sauce as well that is more traditional and smoky you can request.

My sister and I both ordered the 3-meat plate. I tried to eat it all but not a lot of flavor. I don’t like to use the BBQ sauce they supply. I had brisket, pork ribs, and sausage. I give it 4 stars because the food was warm and left an oily taste. I would guess they use mesquite wood to cook with. I won’t come back for a while. My sister had the same remarks.

I want to start out by saying that the service, the atmosphere, the meat and the potato salad were good. But because we didn’t have barbecue sauce that were used to. We could not eat most of our stuff.
If you’re used to eating sweet baby rays, this is definitely not the place you want to go.
But if you’re open-minded to try different types of barbecue sauce, then I would definitely go.

First visit to Cotten’s and definitely not disappointed. Meats were delicious, had the brisket, ribs and sausage. Sides were good as well and the sauce was amazing. It’s a bit of a drive from the bluff but it was worth it. We’ll be back.

The price was up there which I do not mind paying on good food ♀️ but this ♀️ I pd $40 for 2 sandwiches w/ a side of old potato salad.. I ordered 2 bbq sandwiches on hoagie to go , I get to my car open up the boxes to make sure everything was in there and notice tiny buns which were not hoagie they looked like hotdog buns than I notice mold on my buns ♀️ I’m glad I didn’t leave without checking so I got off & let them know & got hamburger buns instead which also tasted stale! As expensive as it is ,they should make sure the food is on point! The brisket itself was very greasy,the potato salad tasted old was not good , the staff were very kind and welcoming When I took the buns back with mold the young lady was very kind & didn’t hesitate to get me more & all with friendly deminar ❣️ I will NOT be eating there again it was my first and last!!!!
