AMAZING place! Lunch time – TVs were NOT too loud, we could hold a normal volume conversation no problem (and my Dad is hard of hearing!).
Server (Kaitlynn) was kind and attentive – even noticed that something was missing before I mentioned it! Gentleman that gave us our food was equally great – the FOOD!
Carrots and broccoli were tender AND tasty – fried zucchini appetizer had a nice, light breading and came out piping hot – potatoes and steak were well seasoned and delicious. Taco salad was HUGE and tasted great.
I will be returning here with more family members. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience at Tavern Grille and it’s definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. I ordered the Carne Asada Nachos and Boneless Wings, and both were outstanding.
The carne asada nachos were loaded and flavorful—perfectly seasoned steak, fresh toppings, and a great balance of cheese and crunch without being soggy. Every bite was satisfying and clearly made with quality ingredients. The boneless wings were just as impressive: crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in sauce that had great flavor without being overwhelming. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they put out.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was our server Rachel. She was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. She checked in at all the right times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Her positive attitude and professionalism made the entire visit even more enjoyable.
Between the excellent food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service from Rachel, Tavern Grille really stands out. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great bar food and top-notch service.

Tavern Grille in Scottsdale, AZ has become one of my go-to spots to eat, drink, watch sports and play Golden Tee golf. I think their food is a lot better than some other sports bars nearby, and there’s always something on the menu that you won’t be disappointed in. I’m a big fan of the burgers, especially the one that comes with deep fried jalapeños…those should honestly be its own shareable snack on the menu, they are fantastic! I’ve always had a friendly experience with their staff, Jillian is usually the one who takes care of us and always goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and having a fun time at Tavern. She even knows what I like to drink and brings it to me when I walk in, since I’m usually hanging out over by the Golden Tee machine – now that’s 5-star service! Tavern’s GT cabinet recently changed from PGA to LIVE which is a bit of a downgrade for us consistent online players, however it’s always working well and thankfully connected to the online servers which is an added bonus. The only thing about Tavern I’d like to see improved is the use of their OTB TV screens in the corner by the GT machine…apparently they recently lost their rights and partnerships with Off Track Betting however they’ve got about 8 of them in that corner that remain turned off at all times, and the staff says they don’t have control on those ones but it really would be great if they could find a way to hijack them with a Roku or Firestick plug in and throw on some football games, I feel like it’s a missed opportunity for a popular sports bar to have a handful of TVs turned off when there are dozens of games being played. Outside of that, Tavern is my spot and I’ll continue spending my money here, since I know it’s a guarantee to have great daily drink specials, food, service, and of course a couple rounds of golf on Golden Tee.

Outstanding burgers with friendly service in a comfortable and nice bar setting.
Struck with a craving for a good burger, decided to try this place out (loved when it was Teakwoods about million years ago). This is an upgrade.
Started with a simple pretzel (as my youngest is on a mission to try every bar pretzel in town). This one was unique, in a good way. Great texture and taste, but not greasy like most.
We also had loaded tots (Tachos) and some onion rings. Burgers were fabulous. Great backyard grill-out char and juicy, but not greasy. They showed great touch on the sourdough- nicely grilled and not at all dry, but not slathered with the butter brush, either.
Service was warm and friendly, and the bar was generally relaxed and pleasant. It was a little less loud than say Zipps or CBCB – a good thing in my mind.
Definitely gonna make this a sports bar stop on the list.

Tavern Grille has a casual, woodsy atmosphere. We came for dinner on a Saturday night and could seat ourselves. There are lot of good menu options, and there was a kid option available. I felt like the food was tasty and had good portions for the price. I enjoyed the taco salad. The service was pretty fast to get our food and drinks, and it took longer to get our bill. Overall, it was a solid dining experience and we would come back.

What a great place! Get the Farm House burger! They have half-pound patties on this huge Burger FULLY LOADED with ham and chicken and bacon and an egg, and I made it a DOUBLE burger—it only cost $3 bucks more to add another HALF POUND patty.
It took me about 15 minutes to kill it and it felt like a GIANT BURGER I was packing away. The jalapeno coleslaw is pretty good, too! I’ll definitely come back here again.

I really like this restaurant and we’ve been regulars for a while. We enjoy the food and service both eating in and as well as taking-out. With my last visit I was so disappointed to learn that Desiree is no longer there. She and Cody, a husband and wife team, always have made every visit welcoming and memorable. Desiree’s absence has changed our experience. As loyal customers, we formed such a connection. Losing someone like this really matters. I hope the Grille continues to prosper but we’ll miss the warm greetings.
