The restaurant area was dirty and smelled badly of weed.

We ended up going through the drive-through. Emily’s customer service was top notch.

We were the only car, and we were told to pull forward to wait for food

The chicken wraps were lacking ingredients like lettuce and cheese and barely wrapped.
The chicken tenders were oddly shaped and poorly battered, but the taste was good.
The ghost pepper sandwich was surprisingly good, but there was no heat.
The fries were greasy but tasted good.
Reviewed the dipping sauces twice and there were none included and no napkins.

I recently stopped by this Popeyes location and had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served piping hot. It tasted exactly like the Popeyes I used to enjoy so much, and it really hit the spot.

The place itself was really clean, which made the experience even better. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The young man who helped us was awesome—he made sure we had everything we needed and had a great attitude throughout our visit. Whoever is in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing because the quality of the chicken was top-notch.

Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with my visit. It’s not always easy to find a fast food place that gets everything right, but this Popeyes nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Popeyes is always our favorite fastfood restaurant when we travel. But this is the worst popeyes branch I have ever gone in! The cashier man was very rude. The wait was very long. We waited for 5 minutes to get to order. The cashier man was shouting at us like not happy we come here to eat. He didn’t even ask what type of chicken and which parts we wanted. After ordered, we realised that the crowds inside were all waiting and not happy. For us, we waited for 45 minutes to get our lunch. The servers are not apologetic to keep customers waiting! They just took their own sweet time.
Very disappointing! But how can we know which branch is good and which one is not?

We came to Popeyes at 11:15 pm, we went through drive thru and were told to make order on the app. We go ahead and do that, and go back in drive thru. The lady proceeded to tells us that we are going to have to cancel the order because they are closing. She was rude and passive aggressive. It would’ve understandable if they closed at 12, but they close at 1AM… horrible service. We later see them doing the same to other cars in the drive thru.

My husband ordered a 3 piece white spicy meal on the app then drove to the restaurant to pick it up. This was around lunchtime. He checked the receipt to make sure it was his order. Drove home and opened the box to see 3 thighs. He went back to the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. She looked at his order – the chicken in the box, and argued that she packed that box herself and the pieces of chicken were breasts. She gave him 3 “breasts” because they were out of wings. My husband was upset but didn’t want to make a scene, so he came home and thought he would double check the chicken again in case he made a mistake. Nope. 3 thighs. He doesn’t eat thighs, he knows what they look like. You would think a manager of a chicken joint would know the difference as well. We’ve had issues many times at this location and still every blue moon, like today, will gamble it will be good this time… the food & the service. Nope. Ownership & management need to do better.

For the one on West Market Street.
Bad service.

My friends and I went tonight to try the new Five Nights at Freddy’s meal. I walk up to the counter and asked for 4 Freddy Fazbear boxes. The cashier rings me up and after I had tapped my card she asks, “Did you want the deluxe boxes?”. I was not aware there was another box, so I said “yes”. She tells me she only rung me up for the regular, and the only difference was no drinks. I understood, and asked her to ring me up for the drinks separately. The total was 12 dollars, so I ask, “What’s the price difference if I order the regular with separate drinks vs the deluxe box?” She tells me the difference is 10 dollars. So I ask if there is any way I can get refunded and then charged properly. She sighs heavily and puts the cups she was holding down before walking away. She returns, and refunds me for the drinks. The system wouldn’t let them refund the meal, I’m not sure why, but I understand systems are strange like that sometimes. Her and another worker spend about 10 minutes staring at the register, trying the same thing over and over again. It got to the point where the family behind me left, because they had been waiting so long. Not once was I apologized to or acknowledged in this interaction. After the 10 minutes, she walks away without saying anything to take someone’s money in drive thru. She comes back and still can’t refund it. At this point she just gives me the drink cups, which felt about 5 minutes too late, but at least it happened. When our food arrives, I notice there is no cupcake. A bit into our meal, I go up and ask for some ranch. I then ask about the cupcakes. The girl next to her says “They don’t come with cupcakes?”, to which I explain the mix up to a different worker curious about the situation. The original worker, irritated, just tells them to give me the cupcakes. I thank them and go back to my friends. Again, not one apology or acknowledgment in these interactions. On top of that, the ranch tastes rancid and the cheesy bites were exploded. That cupcake was NOT Chica approved. At least the chicken was good.

I sat in the parking lot waiting for them to bring my order out for an entire hour (ordered at 5:55 pm and did not receive my food until 7pm). I ordered two regular-sized meals . The parking lot was full of other people waiting for their own orders as well. Early on (maybe 15 minutes after ordering) I went inside to check on the status of my order but the women working wouldn’t even turn to acknowledge me standing at the order counter. I was just standing there waiting for 10 minutes or so and nobody would even greet me so I went back to my car… The doors to the lobby were locked inexplicably at 6:30pm sometime after I had gone back to my car and I watched several people try to enter the restaurant but find the doors locked and walk back to their cars. This was dinner time on a Wednesday. Once we finally received our order, it was missing the drink so I asked the woman if she had the diet coke that was on my order and she said “we don’t have diet coke. do you want regular? ” so I just said yes so I could get it over with and she told me to come inside and handed me a cup to fill at the self-service drink dispenser. There was a large puddle of water on the floor below the machine. I brought the drink to my car and we left. My food wasn’t even hot (though my child’s was at least) . I opened my bag and the sauce I ordered wasn’t inside so I ate my dry , lukewarm and flavorless chicken tenders as we drove home. I’ve had a LOT of bad experiences with Popeyes as a restaurant in general to the point where every time I consider going to one it feels like gambling. My luck ran out and I won’t be back to this or any other location for that matter. As someone just trying to make ends meet, I sat in that parking lot for an hour because I knew that trying to cancel and get a refund for my order would be yet another hassle in my already busy and stress-filled life. To then receive barely passable food at the end of the ordeal was a slap in the face .

Restaurant looks like it just spawned out of a zombie apocalypse. The main door is missing a METAL handle. Its just snapped off, how does that happen? The 2nd set of doors is also broke. The floor is a mess. The kitchen staff is some of the slowest people I have ever seen. You will be waiting 30+ minutes for your order.

Half the staff is on their phones.

Average to bad location – the chicken was dry. Served well though, plenty of bacon.

But this is a far cry from what the original chicken sandwich was supposed to be.

The Mac and cheese was decent.

Took 46 minutes for my order, and they forgot the biscuits. There was nobody inside nor drive thru (not busy). Employees running around hooting, hollering, and cursing. Have music playing loud in the back. Meanwhile, trash is overflowing, and tables are a mess, and I’m waiting patiently.
