Fries were cooked well, but unseasoned. A fry like this requires alot of ketchup. They only provided 3 packets. When I asked for more, I only got 3 more. I asked for extra cheese on my burger which was 75 cents and I asked for a side of thousand island which was 50 cents. I received the extra cheese, which barely saved what would have been a dry underwhelming burger. The thousand island was homemade and heavy on the mustard. Bad recipe. The beverage was small and had an off taste due to the water filtration.

The food at Steve’s Burgers is great—I have no complaints there. My issue is with the customer service. When we asked for a small cup of ranch, the lady who handed us our food said, in a kinda patronizing tone, “oh, that costs extrah.”
Honestly, the fact that they charge for such a tiny cup is ridiculous enough, but the attitude really made it worse.
It’s not too much to ask for a complimentary cup of ranch, especially if it’s something so small. Even if there’s a charge, a simple, polite explanation like “it’s just 25¢, is that okay?” would have been totally fine. Instead, it felt like we were being corrected or judged for asking, which shouldn’t happen.
Customer service is a huge part of what makes a restaurant successful, and this experience makes me wonder if all the employees treat customers this way or if it was just her. Great burgers, bad service—especially from that one employee.

Very mid food for relatively high prices, you can do much better in the area for drive thru food. Taquito order particularly hilarious, I promise that was the whole order. Bean and cheese burrito was very large, but for $8 ir wasn’t better than Bakers. Chili cheese fry might be best thing on the menu, but personally I thought the chili was bland.

GET THE CHILI CHEESE FRIES! Okay, so these are some of the most incredible fries I’ve had, the portions are great and the chili is flavorful. My mom and a friend told me about this place’s food and they weren’t lying, they have an excellent selection of food items. Steve’s offers BLTs, Burgers, Chicken Tenders, Rib -eye, Gyros, Breakfast and of course their fries! Aside from the staples they have a plentiful amount of more food options! The staff is laid back and friendly, I got my order placed and was quickly served at the window. Overall, they keep the location clean and tidy!
Note: There isn’t seating here except for a small two-person table on each end of the shack. This joint is known as a burger stand/shack and offers drive thru service.

The only reason im giving a 1 star review on this one is because of the poor customer service given from the lady at the drive thru. She never used to be this way and made our visit pleasant until one day we went back to get an order fixed. Ever since then she has the nastiest attitude and comes at my husband foul. Today we just wanted to eat a breakfast burrito like we always do on our days off. She ended up making a mistake on her end with the money transaction and we ended up paying the price for it. The money showed up as pending on our end therefore it was already removed from our bank. Mind u the total was over $20 and I only had $40 to begin with. She then refused to give us our food and stated we never paid for it. Not only did she not give us what we did pay for now she inconvenienced us and can’t use that money for the next 10 days until we get reimbursed from our bank. So sad to say that because of workers like that, restaurants end up losing loyal customers and future transactions.

My heart is screaming with joy!!! We moved away from Hemet almost a decade ago. On a recent trip down there my son brought us back a VERY missed pastrami sandwich. It traveled almost a thousand miles but warmed up perfectly!!!!

I’m giving this place a 1 star because the lady at the drive through window acts really grumpy towards the customers. Gives an attitude the whole time we order. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. She doesn’t have customer service training at all. She acts like she hates her job from how she speaks to the customers.

Ordered a double bacon cheese burger with a side of fries. I was charged $17.39. Why was it so expensive? Well it turns out they charge $4.50 for fries. You would think the fries would be large, but they were small. The burger was fine, nothing to rave about. I will not be coming back. It’s too expensive. Check out my pics.
