First of all, sorry that I didn’t get better pictures! I meant to and then ate everything instead. Anyway, we had a mixed bag of experiences here for our visit.
The first thing I need to say is they charge $8 for a cup of Kraft mac and cheese for kids. That is completely unacceptable. It’s a cup of garbage. I would expect a steakhouse to make some good mac and cheese. I ordered the double burger, but only received one patty at first. Some confusion and I got the second patty a little while later. It was more cooked and charred- I asked for medium rare. The sweet potato was good. Got my son the skewer of shrimp. They were very well seasoned and cooked.
My friend got a 6oz filet. There was no price-says market price. She said the steak was good, but the twice baked potato was super over cooked. The plate came out to be $50, which was more than she thought. She said selection of wine wasn’t great.
I then ordered a chicken sandwich for my hubby a little later. He said the sandwich was very flavorful. When I went to pick up the sandwich, I asked if they took Apple pay. The older woman behind the bar said yes and then kept telling me she had to take my phone to ring it up. I explained to her with Apple pay I have to use facial recognition or the sale wouldn’t go through. She then made a face and turned to another staff member who was making a ton of drinks said “Take her payment.” I was left standing there for another few minutes until I said something. Then the young woman came over to me.

Went here for dinner after a few recommendations. I wasn’t very impressed and sure I caught it on just an off night. I ordered a rare steak and it was def med or med/rare. It had great flavor and reminded me of infrared cooked steaks I’ve had. The sides were great but I could tell the person helping us didn’t really want to be there so that’s kind of the reflection of how the service was. Its a great place with a warm inviting decor and everyone else I encountered was very friendly, so like I said previously it was probably just an off night. I’ll try again next time I’m in town and update for sure.

My sister and brother in law went to dinner there the other night and ordered the ribeye split. The steak was cook amazingly. The service could have been better the server they said acted like she didn’t want to be there and they had to keep asking for refills. TO TOP IT ALL OFF A ROACH CRAWLED ACROSS THE TABLE WHILE THEY WERE EATING!!! AFTER THAT THEY WERE DONE. SHE SAID THEY WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! DO BETTER GUYS

I’ve been here a few times and the food is always good! Only thing I can say that I don’t like is the steak is most times cooked well done even if you don’t as for it that way. I guess they would rather overcook than undercook and I completely understand that. I love the fact that it’s right downtown and by the Waterfront. The views of the waterfront are amazing. You can also take a stroll around the waterfront as well downtown. The last time we went here it was after the St. Patrick’s Day 5k run/walk.

I took my son here today. He’s leaving for Navy boot camp tomorrow. He wanted a steak. He got the 16 oz ribeye, a skewer of grilled shrimp and a baked potato. I had the steakhouse burger and baked sweet potato. Everything was fantastic. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We hope to return to celebrate his boot camp graduation. Thank you for a great experience for my son’s last day home!!

I went to the bar tonight while waiting for the Crab drop, expecting to get a glass and be out. I walked in with my 17-year-old son, as the hostess said 2 seats had just opened up in the bar. However, when we walked over, the woman tending the bar, who is named Sherri, told us the bar seats were for paying customers, and my son wasn’t allowed to sit in the seat next to me. So, the entire time we were there, he had to stand next to me. Sherri then proceeded to not take my order, instead deciding to chat with another customer beside me, while appearing to not be doing anything else. Luckily, a man came over and took my order. Then, once I was finished with my drink, I held my card out, waiting for Sherri to come over and pay my tab. She decided to chat with the same man, while standing, doing nothing, right beside me. Luckily, the same man from before came over and paid for me. Everything was great, except for this terrible customer service from Sherri. I’ve come here many times before, and it’s been great, but this woman ruined my whole stay.

Sara B made our experience A+ not only was she friendly attentive and kind, we wanted to know what the drink specials were so she went inside to find out. She even broke into the boss’s office to find out (I hope she doesn’t get fired) but she was amaaaazzziiinng and made our visit A1 she has such a great attitude! This was the 2nd time she was out server and each time her commitment to service and customer satisfaction was the same. Good job Ribeyes we need more servers like her!
