Had a great experience at Chili’s in Mt. Vernon, IL. Caleb and Hannah were absolutely awesome — professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They made sure everything was right and treated me like a valued guests, not just another table.
The restaurant was very clean, welcoming, and well-kept, which really stood out. You can tell they take pride in their work and their service. Because of Caleb and Hannah, this visit was a reminder of how great customer service should be.
Thank you both for making my experience so enjoyable — I will definitely be back!

The food was great had surf and turf and a couple of drinks with Britney the bartender she was wonderful but when it was time for her to go home I went ahead and tipped her and said transfer me the new bartender and said have a good night. Everything was fine until then. I sat there after finishing my meal and then my drink and was ready to order a buffalo ranch quesadilla to go and get another drink but after thirty minutes or so with empty plates and empty glass the new bartender came and said here you can pay here no hi I’m? Do you need anything else just pay here so I took that as a go ahead and just leave so I did just that sorry no tip for that kind of service so Britney you were awesome new girl I didn’t appreciate it and you can do better and you missed out on a good tip I hope you had a better night with the rest of your customers.

Whitney has redeemed Chili’s in Mt Vernon, IL for us! After two bad experiences over the last two years we weren’t going back but we decided to give it another try and we were so glad we did! Whitney was very attentive and sweet! She made sure we had everything we needed. After our food arrived she stopped by to see how everything was tasting and made sure we had plenty to drink. Our food was hot and delicious! I had the Southwest Eggrolls and my husband had the Ultimate Cajun Pasta. Kudos to your kitchen staff as well! The food and service were wonderful.

I chose Chili’s for our work crew meal. Overall our visit was great! Full of fun and laughter that may or may not been directed to other coworkers. This is how to burn of work stress . Our meals were just okay with no one complaining about the taste. Service was excellent just because they put up with us. I’d be happy to visit again in the future. But please have shrimp, baked potatoes and maybe thicker orange slices for Blue Moon.

After nearly nine years, I decided to dine inside a Chili’s restaurant again, this time at the Chili’s in Mt. Vernon, IL. What I experienced exceeded my expectations in every possible way, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Allison, an exceptional wait staff professional with over two decades of experience in the service industry. Allison’s dedication, conscientiousness, and efficient handling of her responsibilities truly made my visit a memorable one.

From the moment I sat at the bar, it was evident that Allison possessed a level of skill and passion that comes only from years of experience. Despite being under pressure with over twelve customers at the bar—thirteen if you count me—she was never anything less than professional. She managed the bustling bar effortlessly, ensuring that every guest felt attended to without a hint of stress. Her swift movements, combined with her welcoming demeanor, reflected someone who takes immense pride in their craft.

Allison’s efficiency was truly admirable. As I watched her work, it was clear she knew exactly how to prioritize and balance the needs of each individual. My orders were taken promptly, drinks were served perfectly, and she ensured I had everything I needed without me having to ask twice. It was as though she had an instinctive understanding of her guests’ needs, knowing when to engage and when to let me enjoy my meal in peace.

My team was traveling to a track meet and we stopped here for food! The waitress was wonderful and she made our experience great. The bathrooms were not too dirty although the towels were out.

Wow, I felt unwanted by Patrons. I could feel the tension as soon as I walked in. The vibes in that place were vicious. I was dining alone. The place was packed when I got there. When I sat down 3 groups of people got up and left. It was like I interrupted the family dinner. It was very uncomfortable. However the service was Outstanding considering people were leaving because of what seemed like my presence.The food was great. I just wish there was sign on the door that said anyone other than (US) not welcomed here. I would have saved my money. But thank you servers for still being nice it’s not your fault people are the way they are….Great Job.

Steak was ordered medium rare and was well done and tough. Both meals were barely warm in temperature. This was a take out order so unable to return or ask for another steak. We are staying in a hotel just across the street

They Travel
Night and day service from the other chilies we have visited. First, we were greeted by hostess holding the door, which was great. When we however, asked her if she could set us around the corner because we had a handicap person with us she said she’s been told by management she could only set groups of five or more at a six table. I asked about the four top table that was closer and she said that one is broken. She thought about it for a short while and said well I guess I don’t think my manager will be too mad at me and sat us at the 6top. Our server came to the table and she definitely wasn’t personable or even happy to be at work? She took her order. When I received my beer by someone other than her, I asked if it was the 22 ounce that I ordered. She said she wasn’t sure. She said she would ask the bartender. Another employee walked by and I asked her the same question. She said she wasn’t sure and she would ask the bartender as well. Eventually, our server came by with no answers from the other two and she also was unsure. She double checked and said that she rang it in wrong. She did not offer to have any solution so I asked if she could correct it? She brought me back a different beer that was an inch or two from the top. Basically the same beer I just had in a larger glass. The food for the most part was good as always, although the appetizer was not fully deep-fried and slightly cold. We will be back to other chilies however we would encourage management to maybe look at some training at this location. Their three for me deals are amazing and typically have the best mozzarella pull 🙂

I ordered through the app. I did not receive all of my order. I called the doordash person. They told me to call Chili’s. I have called 4 different times since my order was delivered. Every time I am on hold for a while, then hung up on before anyone says anything. It would be nice to get the rest of my $50 + order
