Located on Lake Tillery, this restaurant is accessible by car or by boat. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a wide selection of food and drinks. Some of my favorites are the fish tacos, fresh ahi tuna salad and bison burger. The fried dill pickles and homemade chips are great starters. Outdoor dining area is popular as you get some views of the lake as well as marina activity. The service has always been excellent.

Nice place on the water! We had a round of hamburgers. Firehouse burger ribeye ground was excellent. Sweet potato fries were delicious! Our waitress was on point and sweet.
If you had a boat you could just tie up to their marina and head to the restaurant!

There is enough parking and you can’t miss the place. We had no idea about this restaurant and I enjoyed it. There is inside and outside dining. It’s right at the water for lake Tillery. Service was fast and wasn’t that bad. I got the Carolina burger and man the burger was on point. Temperature and flavor was perfect. I would definitely come back and eat again.

The restaurant is big for a population of under 2,000 in the town of Gilead, NC
Parking is also big but it was packed during lunch hour on Sunday, we were lucky to find the last spot.
Ambiance and decoration is nice, our server Ava is very pretty and attentive!
I had the lunch special Shrimp Skewers with cole slaw and smashed potatoes, they were good
My husband had the Chicken tenders basket and French fries, he wasn’t happy because the chicken pieces were very thin, overly breaded.
We don’t like the fact that the restaurant charge over 3% for credit card processing, unfortunately we didn’t expect it so we didn’t have cash.

Riverwild is a unique dining destination on Lake Tillery. It has good food, eccletic decor and very friendly service. Ashlee was awesome and her recommendations spot on.
Bison is featured throughout the reasonably priced menu. The egg rolls were fantastic! The bison chili was good. The rainbow trout perfect. The fish and chips were about average.
If you like cheesecake this is the place for you. They offer several variations. My son opted for the plain NY style much to his pleasure.
I look forward to visiting again soon.

This place was a little ways away from me but I took the chance and it was so worth it. I order a Burger and fries with Mac and Cheese bites as a appetizer. Both items wowed me the burger was amazing with it being cooked perfect and the fries nicely seasoned. Now for the building itself the atmosphere and lake view was great, they even offer a outside sitting area overlooking the lake. Loved it all.

This was my first time here. My rating is based on the service and atmosphere. The food was great, good portion and full of flavor. I got the steak and cheese with onion rings. It was really good. The only complaint i have is it took forever to get the check when we were done eating. As far as organization, there was a family who walked outside to the patio that sat there for 15 mins before being asked if they’d like to order something. It’s an open place with an outside entrance so i get it, but the server at the table next to them asked if someone came over to them to order and they said no and she would get someone. 10 mins later no-one still acknowledged them so they walked off. It should be stated on that entrance for service please enter front door to be seated so you don’t lose business? The boat forklift was a bit annoying too. Id come back for take out though.
