Me and my family LOVEEE chicken Guy!! We eat here at least 2-3 times a week! The staff is very nice and friendly . The manager Carlos is always nice and always greets me and my family and others when we come into the store ! My food is always hot and delicious. Carlos and his crew always checks on us people in the lobby and makes sure we’re good and our food is good . We appreciate the great hospitality and service!

I have a gluten allergy (Celiac). This was my first time eating at Chicken Guy. I am always nervous to try new places. We are traveling which makes it even harder. The staff made sure my food was prepared safely and I have to say it was delicious. I had gluten free bun grilled chicken and fries. Maury and Rico made sure everything was done perfectly. They checked on me to be sure I was satisfied. Thank you so much for great customer service! I will definitely be a returning customer.

Nestled just inside the grocery entrance at the Gardendale Walmart, you will find this little gem. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff. An employee, Copkie, met me at the register and welcomed me, then proceeded to tell me about the latest menu items. I ordered the 3 strip combo. Within a few minutes my meal was brought out hot and fresh. The chicken was hot and tender with a crispy coating. The fries were hot and just the right amount of seasoning.

The sauces are good and the chicken is well, it’s chicken. It is exactly what you would want or expect from an inside Walmart chicken joint. HOWEVER, the service was absolutely TOP NOTCH! The atmosphere was good too, I got to watch the Winter Olympics and listen to good music. The price was good as well, 13 bucks for lunch isn’t too bad these days

We ate at the Gardendale, Alabama restaurant inside Walmart. We got the bourbon brown sugar BBQ sandwich combo. It was so delicious! 2 big chicken pieces on the sandwich! The staff was wonderful! Very friendly, and patient with my elderly mother who was slow and having a hard time deciding. We will definitely be back and will tell others to check it out!

Ok. It’s been open a few months now so I finally got around to trying it. The French fries were excellent!!!! They were hot a seasoned perfectly. The chicken fingers? Mid at best. I guess I was expecting more than a piece of chicken dredged in bread crumbs. The “Special Sauce” could use a little work. It’s mustard, ketchup, mayo and pickle juice. Dude at the counter was nice and friendly. My food was ready in a respectful amount of time. The restaurant has the chairs that everybody hates. Don’t expect to be comfortable while you sit and eat.
