The tacos are absolutely fantastic but the fish tacos are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the stop! I’d also say the tacos are HEFTY, like great size. I was olenty stuffed on 3!

Doesn’t get any better than this! Corey and Connor not only nail the customer service but the food is top notch, generous, and really well priced. We love the nachos, quesadillas, burritos, and they have Gluten Free options too. It’s a small cozy place right on main street. Check it out!

New location for Salsa Shack in Bucksport had always visited them in Ellsworth at the food truck. First visit to Bucksport and wow so impressed. Welcoming staff and atmosphere the tacos were amazing with clearly fresh and delicious fillings. Highly recommend! If you haven’t visited the new location put it on the radar you won’t be disappointed:-)

You can sit by the truck. They have picnic tables and umbrellas, but we sat by the water in the shade.
Great variety of hot sauces as well.
We had the special Cajun Shrimp Taco and Pork/Pineapple one. We tried the blueberry habanero hot sauce.

We first met Cory years ago at the Common Ground fair, and we LOVED his food. When it came time to think of a cool after-party food offering for our wedding, my husband and I did not hesitate–we knew Cory was the man for the job! Now, we had had his tacos many times over before our wedding day, but the wedding took it to the next level! He worked with us on a custom menu for our evening, upped the spice level (since my family is Mexican and would appreciate that), and he even made a custom menu board with our names on it! Add to all this, the amazing flavors AND Cory’s outstanding personality, and you’ve got one stellar experience! And let’s just say, we’re SO excited to try his new brick-and-mortar location in Bucksport… you know we will be frequent customers. (Also, I would totally add photos but I was too busy being a groom!)

We stopped in on a whim on our way through Bucksport, and boy did we get a treat! Just the chips and salsa would bring me back. I don’t usually eat salsa in restaurants and just eat the chips dry, but this? Yum! We tried them with the pico de gallo salsa. It was so fresh – hubby and I “fought” over the last bite. Shrimp tacos (not on the usual menu) were on special, and were amazing. Hubby got a burrito and it was so big he couldn’t finish it, and that’s saying something! It was fun to watch the guys behind the counter too. You could tell they were happy to be there. Definitely recommend to anyone and we WILL be going back.

I have have been to many taco places and this one is my new favorite. You can’t bet this pricing for the quality of food. Guy who owns this place is extremely friendly and is all about fresh ingredients and made to order food. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area.

What a hidden gem in Ellsworth! Food is absolutely incredible and Cory the owner went above and beyond for us! Great location right on the water. We drive all the way from Bangor for these tacos!!
