To say i’m disappointed is an understatement…my fiancé and I go to big boy all the time. We were greeted very nicely by the host, she was very friendly. Our server was nice in the beginning, but once we had problems she quickly changed her demeanor. I had asked politely if I ( a 19 year old ) could order two of the kids mac and cheese dishes. I have done this many times before without an issue and was always allowed to have it. Our server had said she would need to ask but probably not. My fiancé had ordered the philly. She came back with a menu and said that her manager was very upset at her for asking, and that she wanted to know who ordered it because it’s “not aloud” and that I needed to know that. I said that was okay and thank you for asking. She then handed me the menu and waited for me to pick something, I felt very rushed and she asked if i needed a minute and I said yes, then she walked away. I eventually just picked a blt because I seriously didn’t know what else to get, because I always get the mac and cheese. I even offered to pay for it as an adult meal. They have a walkie talkie used to let servers know their food is up, and it is very loud and whoever says “table 30 your food is done” sounds very annoyed and sounds like they hate their job. Our food comes and the philly was absolutely disgusting. I didn’t get a picture, but it had a tiny amount of cheese and it looked awful, looked very dry and almost like dog food. He asked to send it back and our server just stood there. She asked what do you want me to do with it and he said can I just order a slim jim. Normally they ask if you want that as a combo but she just walked away and told the host we needed a menu. Then the slim jim comes out and it looked again awful, i attached an image of it. He ended up eating it because he was just really hungry. We also got the loaded waffle fries and they weren’t very good at all either. But the whole time our server was hugging and talking to all of the elders in the place and all of the elders were getting great treatment. But us, the only two teenagers, we being treated unfairly. My fiancé is in the marine corps and he really was just taken aback. We did not tip at all, I have never not tipped before, normally we just leave change if the server was rude. I wasn’t even done with my food and she brought out our bill and told us to have a good day. I felt very rushed. I am very disappointed and will NOT be going back.

The young man that waits on us almost every time we go in there has excellent customer service skills. Fantastic at his job. Keep up the good work. The food is good but quit over cooking everything. The country fried steak I ordered I couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Same with an order of onion rings.

We were excited to have breakfast here. I attempted to order hotcakes and make it a blockbuster (adding two eggs, sausage, and bacon) as outlined on their menu. As a vegetarian I asked to substitute the two meats for toast and biscuits. Despite being a less expensive item (and even priced the same on the menu as a la carte)!they said no. I ended up ordering the hotcakes and French fries instead. My husband got the club. The French fries were soggy and oily. My husband and I both ended up ill from the food. We likely will not return due to the rigid management and low quality of food.

One of the best Big Boys I have ever been to! They seemed kind of busy, but our food came quick. Food was made very well and with care. Friendly staff all over the restaurant. Floors where clean, once costumers left a table, a staff member was right on top of getting it cleaned before new costumers came in. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. Despite the empty setting, the state of the floor was appalling. Not only was it visibly dirty, but there was a concerning red substance near our table that the hostess seemingly ignored. The overall cleanliness suggested a lack of maintenance for weeks. As someone with serving experience, I expected better standards. The bathroom was also far from satisfactory. Regrettably, I won’t be returning.

My 6 y/o wanted Cookies and Cream “Pam”cakes. The waiter made it a kids sized order which wasn’t on the menu, loved that. I got the Country Friday Steak and Eggs with Bacon and Biscuits, best breakfast I’ve had all year! Hashbrowns were perfect, not soggy and I didn’t even have to ask. Attentive, clean, and perfectly served.

One of the only places left with a salad bar. It’s nice that you can ask to have soup brought to you from the kitchen that they don’t have room for at the bar. Salad bar is decent for the money. It was clean and the staff friendly.

My husband and I went there for breakfast and a bit after we were seated the waiter Dustin came to our table and took our drink and food order. He said he was going to put in the food order before he grabbed our drinks, which was perfectly fine. Well he then goes to another table where a family was seated took their drink orders and immediately brought them out to them. We hadn’t gotten ours yet..hmm..so I got his attention and asked if we could get our drinks. Long story short we weren’t pleased. Our food was brought out and I can’t even…I wouldn’t serve what was brought out but I guess everyone has different standards. Usually that place is great and their waiters/waitresses are amazing I think we just got the not good one.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and it wasn’t sliced steak like the menu said. It was bunched up hamburger. Also ordered an appetizer of onion rings. It only had 7 small rings that they said they didn’t make themselves. The waitress was nice and got more onion rings and took the sandwich off the bill, but the management needs work!
