Creole breakfast & lunch made from organic ingredients served in a bustling repurposed gas station.

I wasn’t explicit enough with my order. I wanted a grilled cheese with a fried egg on it. But I got an omelette on dry toast. My son got the Johnny cake breakfast and loved it. If I had taken more time with my order and made sure it was understood I think it would’ve been great so I will go back. It is a very cool place to meet someone for brunch. Indoor seating, outdoor patio. Old style gas station renovation, where you have to go outside for the bathrooms.

Fabulous. Delicious. Homestyle. What more could you want?
We’ve never been here before but stopped by because of a recommendation – I’m glad we did!
Biscuits and gravy is sublime. Even though the gravy is going to give me a gastro intestinal nightmare (I’m lacked toast and toddler ants) it’s so delish’ that I may even get seconds
Eggs are cooked well. Grits are savory and scrumptious. The beignet is soft, moist, and clearly the best alternative to a traditional donut.

We had carry out on Sunday cause on Saturday the place was soooo packed we figured we better just order and pick up. The omelet was small but the taste was huge. The shrimp and grits well just say I’ll be driving back down to Lexington to sit in and enjoy.

Great little place! Old gas station turned into cute little restaurant! Order at the counter, take a number and sit down to be served. Plenty of parking! Great menu and all food was cooked to order, came out quick, fresh & hot! Very clean and cool atmosphere. In our group, We had shrimp & grits with biscuit, sausage gravy & biscuits, BLT, pancakes & omelets. All of the food was delicious! The biscuit was buttered and grilled on the flat top, it was delicious! Staff was friendly & second was great! Plenty of parking in private lot and street parking! Bathroom is outside (it’s an old gas station), but very nice & clean!

I enjoy the huevos and beignets here- both are tasty! Shrimp and Grits are great and the Cure is a popular order in my family. The food is affordable and consistently good with nice portions, and I don’t typically eat breakfast out. They have fun seasonal and holiday drinks and plates to try.
Parking can be tricky due to the small lot, and if it’s full, expect a wait. The service is usually wonderful, but the space is small and I’m not a fan of table sharing with strangers. I’m happy to wait with my crew for a table, but I’ve noticed on busy days some guests will say they are happy to share and then snag a table meant for those waiting. I understand this is hard to enforce and comes down to manners.
Overall, this is a great local breakfast and brunch spot!

We cannot express enough how wonderful and excellent our first visit to this Lexington mom and pops iconic restaurant was! The atmosphere was buzzing, lots of folks coming in and going out, the staff friendly, efficient and seemingly truly enjoying their jobs. We sat outside and it was delightful! Our food came out very quickly, it was presented perfectly, huge ample portions and the taste was superior, hot and fresh. This was extremely quality food. Our server was proficient, quick , energetic and very amicable. We couldn’t be more pleased with this wonderful eatery and it has become for us a definite return place for us to eat. What a wonderful experience, well DONE, ‼️
The only very minor suggestion is we felt the indoor music was way too loud which was a bit too excessive for a breakfast/lunch crowd.

It took over 15 minutes for us to order and be seated. i ate most of my food but my boyfriend pretty much left his plate full. His pancakes were burnt, and the sausage was as well. The sausage was also very dry and the eggs were both burnt and dry lol. the staff is nice but it’s not for me, i’m assuming it might’ve just been a bad day or something but idk. it was definitely not worth $30.

Awesome place for breakfast. Very unique and delicious food. Biscuits & Gravy is everything you would expect. The beignets were scrumptious! We sat, we ate and we laughed forever without feeling pressured that we had to leave. Love this place ❤️

Cozy little place with yummy food and good service. Order was made exactly as requested and the sausage gravy was my favorite. The pancakes were very good. I love cheese grits and this place did not disappoint.

I know this is a lex staple. Although I’m gluten-free, I’m not someone who goes places expecting that’s always available on the menu. No one could answer questions for me about that so I settled on the hash. It took over 25 mins to get during a relatively non busy time. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed, but would try again if they get more options- the pancakes looked great!
