I came here today and got arroz blanco, pollo guisado & habichuelas rojo. To start, we waited in line for at least 20 minutes and the service was pretty slow given that every tray of hot food was practically full. They have a lot of options, food & drink wise. The place looks clean. The workers have their masks on but not even covering their face so there is no point of having them on. My maduro Fritos were not even maduro, they were hard and didn’t taste sweet. I didn’t like them. Everything else was good. They had enough staff to be running faster so that wait was unnecessary. I would come back and probably just place an order before I got there.

This is my go-to restaurant in Paterson. The staff are respectful, the place is always clean, and the food is fantastic. The service is quick, and they truly make you feel welcome. My children and I are always grateful for their kindness.

I haven’t been there for almost 6 years. I used to get roasted chicken, black beans, white rice and sweet plantains which were so tasty. However this time I wanted to try something different like the sancocho which I got disappointed. First the long wait to get food served and then all I got was a cold soup with no flavor.

Dominican food very traditional and delicious. They roast the chicken and other meats on site which is great even more. You know the food is fresh made on site. Order by phone too. They have natural juices. The place is actually small around 5 or 6 tables only. So might not find seats around lunch time 12-2 pm.
I recommend it and prices are very reasonable $8 or less.
Try the desserts trust me dominican sweets are really good after lunch.

I ordered a chicken for our 2021 Thanksgiving dinner and THANK GOD it was just one chicken. As you can see on the left side picture (El Sitio’s chicken) not sure what’d happened to it. It was cooked well, however the presentation was terrible and that says a lot. The chicken on the right hand side is from Costco and as you can see its whole and it looks nice on that picture. Don’t get me wrong, your food is great but presentation counts A LOT! Please keep that in mind for next time. I will keep coming back for your banging pernils though. 🙂
