The sour cream was watery, the rice was not seasoned correctly, the flower tortilla was smaller than chipotle, the atmosphere is OK. The music was kind of weird and honestly chipotle is better. We had a good experience, but I’m not sure that I will be back salsa. It’s OK

IF IT WAS A ZERO ON HER I WOULD GIVE IT!

On July 28, 2025 at approximately 1:45 -2:00 i experience a terrible accident! I found/ swallowed glass due to purchasing a bowl from this establishment.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding a recent incident at your establishment. Yesterday experience was not only unpleasant but genuinely alarming, marking it as one of the worst days I’ve had.

During my lunch, I discovered a piece of glass in my food, which I unfortunately swallowed and cut the inside of my mouth. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions about your food safety protocols. The presence of foreign objects in food is a severe health hazard and indicates a significant lapse in quality control.

I trust that you will take immediate and thorough action to investigate this matter and implement measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Also, I am further dismayed by the dismissive and unprofessional response I received from the General Manager, Hannah. Her reaction to my report of finding glass in my food was incredibly insensitive and unhelpful. Specifically, she stated, and I quote, “respectfully, there’s no way that glass was in your food.”

This statement is not only ignorant of the potential severity of the situation but also deeply insulting. It suggests a lack of concern for customer safety and a refusal to take responsibility for what happened. Such a dismissive attitude from a member of your management team is unacceptable and only compounds the distress caused by this incident.

I expect a more serious and compassionate approach to resolving this matter. It is imperative that you address Hannah’s behavior and ensure that all staff members are trained to handle customer complaints with the care and attention they deserve.

I’ve always loved this location because it’s so convenient and close to where I’m usually headed. Since the new management took over, though, I’ve noticed a bit of a learning curve.

There doesn’t always seem to be a strong sense of urgency during service, and some of the newer team members may benefit from additional training—especially when it comes to working with low-carb tortillas. They can be tricky, and without the right technique it makes it hard to fold them into a well-wrapped burrito.

Proper wrapping really matters because it helps distribute all the ingredients evenly. I’d love to see a little more care there—nothing beats a burrito where every bite has a good balance of white chicken, cauliflower rice, guacamole, and everything else, instead of everything settling at the top or bottom.

I also felt the customer service at checkout could be a bit warmer. A friendly interaction when paying really makes a difference in the overall experience.

I truly enjoy coming here and want to see this location thrive. With a bit more training, consistency, and a focus on friendly service, I think it can get back to being a great experience. Thank you for listening and for working to make this location even better!

Serving size has shrunk. Chipotle is a cheaper option. If I’m going to pay for expensive burritos/bowls, I’ll pay for better quality ingredients, not smaller size. For example, the Freebird bowl used to make two normal sized burritos from one bowl. It now makes one.

I never had Freebirds before today, and now I can say I won’t visit again!!! I ordered for pickup on two separate orders for my brother and self. I ordered a half burrito chicken (high protein tortilla, FB chicken, cauliflower rice, black beans, Monterey cheese, corn salsa, shredded lettuce, and FB ranch $9.69) and my brother got half burrito (regular flour tortilla, double steak, black beans, Spanish rice, queso, and sour cream $11.79). When placing these orders, I called the establishment & asked for light black beans on both/light salsa on my own). They do not give the option for regular or light items online excluding the protein options. The worker whom answered stated “Once I have your orders in the system, I’ll be sure to tell them light scoops on those items. I thought great customer service at that point. Once I arrived at the establishment (it had three customers in line which should have been a sign), I walked to the pickup counter, and decided to double confirm that I got light beans and double steak for my brother. The cashier stated “I made your orders myself and gave you one scoop of beans and two scoops of meat” When I got home and looked over both burritos, I found only 5 pieces of FB chicken in my burrito, and it was excessively dripping in salsa juice, and not one drop of FB ranch. My bother looked at his burrito and same result (excessive black beans, barely any queso or steak, two scoops of Spanish rice, and three scoops of sour cream). I also ordered for the establishment to fork it (which is their slogan term meaning be so well constructed, you won’t need utensils to eat it), my order was soggy and definitely not put together. Mind you, I was only 4 miles from this establishment (I only mention that because there is no explanation for the soggy Luke warm inadequate made burritos I was given). Maybe service is better when you watch the workers make your food which is why they had those three customers in line. BE WARNED!!! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR PICKUP.

Well first off I want to start off by saying that I’ve been ordering from this place since about July 2025 I’ve had free birds before in like the Killeen area but this is one of the places that I do trust getting food from and stuff here in Houston. Today I ordered from Uber eats and I had a pretty bad experience with a driver taking my order and I called freebirds to explain they did a did great on making that right, and this is now my favorite Free birds location. Thank you for the help from the crew and the young lady I spoke to on the phone.

I highly suggest to not make me pay $26 for extra steak if you cannot fit it in the “freebird” size. Ordered this on Uber Eats for $26 before delivery or tips. Total $35. Look at its size. Threw it in the air and gulped it on the way down. Love ya freebird but I totally overpaid here 🙂

Man, this place has fallen from grace. I loved this place years ago. I paid $14 for a burrito that was just a sloppy mess and falls apart. I had to ask for a tray to put my burrito in so I could eat it with a fork. Then, they have the audacity to ask for a tip at the register like they do anything that isn’t in their job description, which they don’t even do because of how many dirty tables there were. Won’t be coming back.

Allison and Renaldo are super helpful when I came in today to get a bowl. They gave me wonderful recommendations, and got me so excited to come back and try more. The customer service alone was next level. I highly recommend this location to everyone.

First time trying this place. The staff was very friendly and told us about the menu. Service was quick. I ordered a Freebird burrito, it was very salty. Perhaps it was the rice so made it hard to enjoy. The rest of my ingredients tasted fresh and good. I felt as my burrito needed sauce. The tables were dirty and the floor had crumbs other than that the place was pretty good for a quick meal
