We found this gem thanks to great friends of ours. We drove by it hundreds of times and just never stopped. Thank the lord our friends suggested that be our monthly breakfast with them.
The service and atmosphere is amazing. The food is outstanding and you get great portions for your money. I highly recommend this to anyone. This is our new “go to place”
With this place being Hispanic owned and operated, I was delightfully surprised at their “PA Dutch” portion of the menu.
They have the best PA Dutch style Chicken and Waffles in the area.
For breakfast you cand go wrong with anything. We love so much I can’t list it all here.

Could be the best huervos rancheros and Mexican home fries ever! The place is spacious, the menu expansive, the staff tremendous, and they serve my favorite meal of the day all day. The selection of authentic Mexican dishes is fabulous. My new go to place after church!

Know before you go…Yankee Doodle is Mexican American diner. Suprising and very good. I had a dish of eggs, soft tortillas with salsa Verde, rice and beans. Excellent flavors and spiced just right.
Service might be considered a little slow but it was perfect for us. Food was worth the wait.
As a nice touch the owner makes rounds to each table to check in to see how everything is. This is rare today and tells me ownership is participating in the business and is focused on consistently providing good food and service.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the area! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently amazing. They offer a great mix of classic American breakfast options and authentic Mexican dishes. I had the chilaquiles verdes which was an absolutely 10/10. Flavorful, fresh, and perfectly done. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a satisfying meal and great service!

Finally got the chance to stop in here after hearing good things for a while. Had the breakfast sizzles platter. Was amazing. Like a traditional scrambler type plate with eggs, sausage, home fries, but with a fajita type twist with peppers and onions, salsa, avocado and warm tortillas. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu options. Staff was so friendly and inviting.

The best huevos rancheros contain delicious eggs, chorizo and avocado, excellently prepared. Fruit cup is always fresh, and they have other American dishes too. Staff is always friendly and service is fast. Great prices. We really enjoy eating here. We are treated like family.

Its not what you would expect from the name, but they have some decent mexican dishes. I had the crunchy burrito bowl which was nice. Then prices seemed high on some of the meals, but overall it was good.

The taco salad, with the beans and rice, was more authentic than diners usually offer. It was delicious, and even a discriminating me enjoyed it.
The libation menu was extensive; I don’t believe I’ve ever had pink Moscato.
Yankee Doodle Restaurant is affordable and has plenty of parking, although there was a sign on the entrance for additional parking at the Rodeway Inn next store. I bet the weekends are jam-packed.
