It was very busy on a Wednesday morning, with a line out the door. You can’t see the menu until it’s your turn and prices aren’t updated. The space could use a refresh. The waiting area is small, but there are lots of options and the bagels are fresh. Service varies with some workers being friendlier than others.

Classic New York style bagels and deli. No aesthetic frills, but freakin’ delicious food! Everything is exactly how I wanted it, and they are trying to nickel and dime you for things too.
Good food, good price, will definitely go again and bring a friend.
Very clean, very friendly, very tasty. Plenty of space to move around and plenty of seating.

This was my 1st time coming here and let me tell you, it was so packed! I can clearly see why though. I had order a sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was delicious. It was definitely worth the wait. They are reasonable priced too. One of the worker that took my order seemed overwhelmed though. You can eat inside or seat outside. They are only open until 2pm though so try to catch them before then.

The best bagels in North Raleigh, heck in all of Wake County as far as my experience. And they have Bialys!!!! Woo! I grew up in Jersey (NYC Metro) so know a good bagel.
The bagel crust is perfectly firmly chewy (water bath) and the insides a perfection of texture. The Bialys have plenty of onions and seasonings on top and that lovely matte baked finish. They have a wide selection of bagels.
The cream cheese is perfectly fluffy and delicious, although sometimes too abundant, so ask for less if you don’t want to be inundated.
The smoked salmon sandwich with Nova lox, capers, thinly sliced red onions, cream cheese, lettuce and tomatoes is a gustatorial delight ($12.99) and so worth the $$.
The chopped liver and white fish salad are very good as well. Oh and the black and white cookies, yum!
The prices are high but the quality supports it.
The atmosphere is not great, but it’s not supposed to be a sit down restaurant. People mainly come here to take things to go.
The service is fine, a bit brusk at times (it kind of adds to the NY vibe), usually quick, although on a busy day you can wait a bit for a sandwich.
I live 20-25 minutes away but this is the only place I will go to for bagels! Be prepared to wait in a line out the door!

Be prepared to wait in line outside before getting in, but once you’re inside, the process moves quickly. They offer a fantastic variety of options—from fresh bagels and hearty sandwiches to omelets, sweet treats, and more—all at a great price.
The small building and dining area mean it gets quite crowded, so it’s best to know what you want before heading in. Despite the tight space, the quality and selection make it worth it.

The best bagel I’ve had in ages. They make authentic New York-style bagels which are, of course, the best in the world. I don’t live nearby but I would go out of my way for one of these bagels. They have perfect lox and New York deli items that are hard to find in NC. The baked goods looked amazing and I could have easily scarfed a few down if I wasn’t on a diet! Mouth-watering.

New York Bagels and Deli lives up to its name. The bagels are very tasty and it has the feel of a New York Deli. I ordered the jalapeno cheese bagel which was very good. The outer crust is firm (but not tough) and the middle is soft and chewy. I also had a sun dried tomato bagel which was delicious. One of their best in my opinion. However, the show-stopper has to be their black and white cookie. I haven’t had a black and white cookie like they serve since my last trip to New York. It’s more of a cake than cookie and 100 percent delicious. If you have a sweet tooth this treat will not disappoint you. The staff is friendly and they work quickly. You can expect to wait in line but it moves quickly. The cost isn’t too expensive. For a couple dozen bagels and cream cheese we spent around $25. I really enjoyed my experience and this bagel shop and would definitely return (if for no other reason than to get a black and white cookie). Parking is easy to find. You shouldn’t have any issues.

I normally like this place but was surprised this morning to find a paltry amount of cream cheese on both of my bagels. You can actually see the bagel through the smidge of cream cheese! I don’t know if they have someone new on the line but I would never come back if my bagels usually looked like this. Unfortunately got all the way home before I opened them.

Happened to see NY Bagel passing by on the way to an appointment. Most of my appointments have been in the evening, but had an early appointment today. Got 6 bagels, garlic herb cream cheese and a cheese Danish. The bagels are very fresh and the cream cheese delicious. The Danish was lovely and I loved the crunchy topping they add. I would be interested in what they have for lunch. They have Boar’s Head products, which I love. They have inside seating and outside seating for a nice day. They were fairly busy, which is a good sign as well. You should visit them.

As a former New Yorker a great Bagel makes my Sunday morning. I was happy to see the staff was ready to go and all the bins were full of bagels. When I got home and tried one of the bagels the flavor was great. I’ve been to just about every bagel place within 30 Miles of Raleigh. These are good bagels but my only wish is that they bake them a little bit longer so the bagels have a bit more crust.
