I don’t remember all the plates but we got several to share between my husband and me including the shrimp ceviche platter, everything was exquisitely delicious. This restaurant apparently runs on reservations only but will make an exception if deemed fit.

This location is a great place for a group outing. We celebrated a friend’s birthday and were treated to live music and dancing with dinner. I ordered the causa trio and the lomo saltado mar y tierra. The food was delicious and the service from the staff was great. I would definitely return.

I’m just visiting the local area and decided to stop in for dinner, as I was craving some ceviche. I ordered the ceviche de pescado and loma saltado. The lomo was very good and the ceviche as well. I’ve only got four stars because I’m picky about my seafood… but overall, this was a great meal! Lina and Hector made for friendly conversation.

Not only was the food phenomenal, the live band made us get up and dance.
The service was top tier. The owners Hector & Haley made us feel like we were family. This was an experience you have to try. Everything was absolutely delicious.

A Father’s Day excursion to Costanera Fine Peruvian Cuisine turned into a must-return experience within the same week. I had the Jalea, and it was absolutely flawless — the taste, portion size, and presentation were spot on. Naturally, I had to sample my wife’s Causa Acevichada, and it was equally impressive. These two dishes alone convinced me to come back just days later for another round of this exceptional dining experience.
On my second visit, I tried the Tri Causa, an outstanding trifecta of bold, fresh flavors that once again left me thoroughly impressed. I could go on at length about the consistently high quality of the food here — it’s easily some of the best Peruvian cuisine I’ve had outside of New York City.
That said, I was a bit disappointed to learn that their menu doesn’t include the traditional Peruvian rotisserie chicken, a staple I’ve grown accustomed to finding at nearly every Peruvian restaurant back home in NYC. It would be a fantastic addition, even if offered on select days of the week here in Tampa.
All in all, Costanera delivers an outstanding dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning for the dishes I’ve already grown fond of. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, well-executed Peruvian flavors.
