I will say I was pleased by the General Tsos cauliflower appetizer. That will have me trying to duplicate it at home. I was a bit underwhelmed by the salad I got by I realize it’s bc I took off the peppers and onions and it kinda ended up looking like a bag of spinach with some nuts and craisins tossed on. It was very yummy with the light dressing they provided though and I ate every bite. And now want to try to duplicate that at home too. As I was leaving though one of my favorite things was the tiles in the bathroom. I want them!!! Unique!!!

We came here to celebrate our 24th Anniversary today. After we were seated we waited 8 minutes for someone to notice us or come take our drink order. We were only going to wait another 2 minutes and then walk out.
But then our server came and took our drink order. From that moment on the service was great. He was friendly, fast and attentive. He refilled our drinks several times. Our food came out fast and was cooked to order. They took my cumin allergy seriously. The food was delicious and I even tried the Carrot Cake for dessert.
We are glad we stayed. The 4 stars is only because of that first 8 minutes where we almost walked out. Other than that we are glad we came and stayed. Great service, delicious food!

Great burgers and gyros. The patty melt burger is a favorite of mine. Staff was awesome. We were waited on quickly and got our food without a long wait. The price of our meal was decent compared to other restaurants. Atmosphere was great. I have been here at least 3+ times.

I decided to give Timberwood TapHouse a second chance after a so-so first visit—and I’m glad I did. This time around, everything hit the mark. I had the steak tips pasta in a sweet cream sauce, and it was cooked beautifully. Rich, savory, and super satisfying. My girlfriend went with a good old-fashioned cheeseburger, and they absolutely nailed it—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right.
The wings were a standout. Do yourself a favor and try the Carolina BBQ or Ghost Reaper sauces—both are award-winning for a reason. That sweet heat combo is something special.
Service was great too—our waiter was friendly, helpful, and kept things moving. The tap list is insane (in the best way). Tons of local and regional brews to choose from.
All in all, I’m really impressed. Solid comeback, and now it’s on my list of go-to spots in the area.

Updated: I am from the west so my palate is different. The nachos were not to my liking. I will say the manager stepped up and took care of business. Nice tap house with a good section of food. The Buffalo wings were outstanding. Fried just right and we’ll coated in sauce.
The “Original Fries” were tasty, crispy and fried just right.
Service was great, I didn’t have to ask for refills nor extra napkins. The restaurant is very clean and has a good atmosphere.

I’ve eaten at Timberwood several times now and figured it’s about time I left a review! I’ve never had a bad meal there, and the service has always been very friendly. It’s a popular place so there is sometimes a wait, but that’s to be expected. The “Unaffected Beauty” sandwich is delicious, and so is the Eastern Shore grilled cheese, which is loaded with crab meat. Today my husband had the Reuben and he said it was excellent. I had the Hercules roast beef sandwich, and loved it. Will definitely be ordering it again! The meat on the sandwiches is always well-prepared and gristle-free. Our waiter today was exceptional, and I wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout-out here. Their original french fries are about the best fries I’ve ever had anywhere. They have a great beer selection. Don’t go there expecting quiet and cozy because it’s not that kind of place. Like I said, it’s popular and is almost always busy at lunchtime. There are several big TV’s so if you’re a sports fan you will always have something to watch. Can’t finish without saying that even the coffee was delicious!

Hadn’t been in a while, went for my birthday today on a football Sunday. They had some great specials (22oz for price of 16). Great beer list, great service, and the Eastwood burger is one of the best things I have had in a long time. Bonus that we could reserve a table for 8 ahead of time because we had kids and they were ready for us. We will make a point to go back more often!
