I can’t say I’m too surprised. It is rated at 3 stars. The nicest part of the experience was the hottest. She was at least nice and greeted us and said goodbye.
The blonde server must have been having a bad day. No personality and could tell she was on autopilot just getting through the day. Not really pleasant to be around.
The food was extremely sub par. The bread sticks and salads were good. The entrees were pretty bad. Neither of us finished our meals. My old fashioned was pretty bad too.
Bathrooms were pretty disgusting too.
Overall I would not recommend eating here. Go elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars it still would be to many, after waiting for over an hour after ordering a simple burger overcooked, bun stale and fries soggy. Other two meals were equally bad. Service nonexistent, and orders not even right.

I would rate zero stars if it would let me this is the second time my husband and I went there to eat and once we were seated we sat for over half and hour with no one acknowledging us no drinks no hey no anything and people who came in after and sat after us were serviced and already had drinks and appetizers while we were ignored so we got up and left this place has went downhill it used to be one our favorite places but unfortunately we won’t be returning. If you like trash service this place is for you

This place needs rather better management or more management involvement in the work. Came in for Valentines day and took over 30 minutes to get my drink and almost 2 hours from arrival to get my food. I seen multiple tables that was sat after me get food. Finally I got my food to go and when I got home I noticed my food didn’t come with all the ingredients it was supposed to have. I’ll never come back to this location.

If I could, I’d give this place a half star!! Far different from my last visit to this location. During the summer, I’d bring my 6 grandkids here for a nice after church lunch and the service was nice. BUT YESTERDAY, SUN 1/26/2026 WAS HORRIBLE! I’m getting up to write this before I forget. First off, the server never introduced herself, never gave her name and very nonchalantly took our order. There were 2 adults and 5 children at our table. As we settled, took off our coats, we noticed that other workers, the bar attendant etc were working with their coats on. The kids were cold and put their coats back on.
When our food arrived and shared out, we alerted her that she bought an extra kids meal. She realized she made an error and stated that if we kept it, we would be charged. I’m fine with that however, it was her error. The food will be tossed out anyway right? Once it leaves the kitchen, it’s not supposed to be received back. It’s been my experience that good customer service would admit the error and leave the pizza & fries. Instead she said it would be thrown away and took it back! There goes a substantial “tip” for her. We were still eating with coats on, and the kiddies had to use the restroom. BOTH MALE AND FEMALE BATHROOMS STUNK VERY BAD!!!!!!!!! I myself asked a lady who claimed to be the manager what in the world is that smell. She stated very unconcerned that it’s COMING FROM THE SEWER. THAT’S WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE. RAW SEWERAGE! IT WAS TOO LATE, WE HAD ALREADY FINISHED THE MEAL, OR WE NEVER WOULD HAVE EATEN HERE. Who knows what the water is like in the kitchen. I can only pray our tummy’s don’t get sick tonight. I see why there only 2 other customers in this place. DON’T SPEND YOUR $ HERE.

Starting with the service. It was great. They went way out the box to make our evening fantastic. Then there was the food. They said it was hamburger week so most of my family got the bacon cheese burger that was only $7.99 with fries. They loved it. I got the rib tips which were finger licking good

WILL NEVER GO BACK!! Drove from Downtown Charleston to go eat here. Manager is extremely RUDE! Has some issue with her eyes, if you say something she doesn’t like they start to roll. Tried to call customers out when they are commenting on her rudeness. Having half the restaurant closed when there’s a Christmas parade and knowing there’s about to be a bunch of people coming….absurd. Plan better and schedule better. This manager needs to be trained better when it comes to F&B.

We just moved to the area and realized there is still ONE Bees left!! So out of pure nostalgia we decided to have dinner there. But we were fully aware of what we were going into…Applebees isn’t known for the best of the best lol hence why they’re all gone.
To our delight it was great. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Food was great, we ordered a couple diff platters. I ordered steak, she had a pasta.
They still have their 2 for $25 ect so that’s awesome.
The waitstaff is hanging around talking and being kids, so if that’s something that could bother you? Prob not the spot for you because it is empty.
We enjoyed our stroll down memory lane. Will probably swing by a second time eventually.

I took my cousin there for her birthday. Im always wary of Applebee’s because the food is never as advertised. They failed me again. I got the 2 for 25 double cheese. My cousin got lime chicken. My fries were cold and cheeseburger was ok. Our waitress Leslie was phenomenal. She did a great job. I gave Applebee’s one last chance. I’m done. Again if the food was as good as Leslie was I would be happy. Keep up good work Leslie. Hope your food gets better.

The service here is definitely slow. I arrived it took 15 minutes for someone to come outside. The manager came asked my name and never came back. As I was about to go in another young lady came asked my name, went in, came back, took my money and needless to say never came back. I was about to go in, a young man came gave me my order. I went in and to ask to speak to the manager. He came up I explained to him I have been here for almost 45 minutes waiting for my order, which Sir, you was the first person to come outside and take my name. It still took another 15 minutes or so before someone to come outside and the young lady has still not brought me my change. He apologized, brought me my change and offered to compensate me next time I come back. There will not be a next time. Got home the chicken is hard as a rock, literally!!!! Never again!!!!!
