Welp…. not many of my reviews are mediocre.. know why, bc I use Google Reviews to go to the good places lol.. I didn’t read ones for here, still haven’t, just saw it was withing walking distance, looked cute from the outside (old railroad) and was busy, so figured it was good. Guess a little too busy… we waited like 15 minutes, not bad, got a nice table. Waitress was meh…. food took FOREVER, I mean about 20 mins, and when I asked her about it, she said :”it should be” and walked away… nuff said. Pancakes needed like 5 things of syrup, VERY VERY dry. The chorizo burrito was 10/10, with thr yummy stringy has brown inside it. Will we go back, NOPE. Should you go? Eh…..

Had lunch at Station 400. The reviews were mixed. The grilled salmon over greens was very good. The corned beef hash was tasty but the eggs were undercooked. The steel cut oatmeal was too sweet. Our server could have been more attentive.

Very strange experience. Very little sauce. Not a very good omelette and it’s their signature one. One small nothing claw was all I could pick out that was a protein. And their teaspoon of hollandaise sauce was basically no sauce I ordered sour dough toast and she says it is however it tasted like cheap white toast. Pic enclosed. It’s white toast. Not sure sourdough can be limp and soggy.

We enjoyed a Sunday brunch here with my family of 4 and grandpa.
We ordered cappuccinos with almond milk (great coffee), orange juice for my kiddos and avocado toast w/hash browns (the guacamole wasn’t the best), truffle eggs Benedict (really good dish) and bacon salted pancakes (portion of 3 was great for my youngest and couldn’t finish it).
We waited around 15 minutes to be seated (it was crowded), and then the service was a bit slow but our server was friendly and diligent (she had many tables to serve).
The place is cozy and lively.
We paid $100 (1 coffee, 1 orange juice, 3 cappuccinos, and 5 dishes)
We’ll definitely come back if we’re around again.

Just had one of hundreds of breakfasts here over 15 years in this place. I love everything here: food variety is totally to my taste – fresh and yummi. Great coffee, 7 different kinds of mimosas. The outdoor tables under the trees, the friendly efficient staff serving us always deserving 25% tip. We love this location and Lakewood Ranch as well. My favorite is ‘Station 400 Omelet’ with hash browns. And quite a variety of pancakes

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Sarasota. There’s indoor and outdoor dining, the outdoor dining is a covered patio, where they allow dogs. They do provide water bowls for dogs on the outside patio. We went with a large party of 11 adults and a baby. Bonnie, our server, was fantastic. She got all of her orders accurately, and went above and beyond in taking photos of our family. Above and beyond meaning she literally stepped up and into a planter pot so that she could get our full group in one photo. The wait wasn’t too bad for our food to come out considering we did have a large party.
My favorites from station 400 are definitely the pancakes, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I will say they should change the truffle eggs Benedict to be named mushroom eggs Benedict because you really can’t taste the truffle. Our group ordered a mix of pancakes, waffles, French toast bites, jalapeño biscuits and gravy, Club sandwich, steak and eggs, and more and everyone all enjoyed the food!
I even ordered a club sandwich to go with regular fries and I popped it in the air fryer. Four hours later. It was still perfect and toasted. Loved all the cheese on there. Shoutout again to Bonnie if you go to station 400, I would recommend her to be your server.

Loved the train vibe in here! Our waitress was super nice & made us her favorite off the menu coffee which was delicious. We came for brunch with a group of 7 and were able to be seated right away. We shared the French toast bites to start & they were delicious. They have a wide variety of breakfast & lunch options. The waffle sausage comes with two & gave a sausage pancake on a stick vibe – in the best way. It was great. The hash browns were also nice & crispy! Everyone enjoyed, which is a win with a large group!

Had a wonderful time with 6 friends before we went to a play. Relaxed and quaint atmosphere with excellent service by Meg. Located in the old train station offered nostalgia and history.Food was delicious and plentiful. From chicken salad plate, French dip, fried green BLT! I chose it because they would accept a group reservation and near Asolo Theatre. I will definitely eat there again

My wife and I recently dined at Station 400 for breakfast, drawn in by its downtown location and the positive buzz surrounding it. As part of NXTGEN Marketing Group, which has been in business since 2011 and has a former partnership with the Food Network, we pride ourselves on providing accurate and honest reviews that reach a very large audience—over 150,000 views a week, placing us in the top 10% on Google.
While the atmosphere at Station 400 was inviting, and our waitress was wonderful—attentive and friendly—our food experience fell short of expectations. I ordered pancakes that were unfortunately dense and heavy, with an overwhelming flour taste that detracted from the enjoyment. My wife’s eggs were overcooked, lacking the light and fluffy texture we anticipated.
On a positive note, the coffee was fantastic—rich and flavorful, and definitely a highlight of our meal.
We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and we sincerely hope that our experience is not reflective of the usual standard at Station 400. With a menu that likely offers many great options, we encourage others to give it a try. Our visit was just an unfortunate case, and we’re hopeful that future diners will have a better experience. We may consider returning in the future to explore more of what they have to offer.

Traditional breakfast place with a cool interior. I was a little sad to see some of the items were no longer on the menu, but I got the avocado toast and it was tasty. I think I was given decaf coffee instead of regular bc even after two cups I didn’t feel anything. Still, it was a neat experience and a cool place to visit.
