Visited this restaurant for dinner on my way to Crater lake and absolutely loved it. The food was awesome and the place was quite busy. I felt this place could use some additional help. Staff was quite helpful and answered all questions and concerns. There was ample parking outside the establishment. We didn’t have to wait to get seated, service time was reasonable. Ambiance was quite good and this place can be your choice to celebrate or a business lunch/dinner. Menu was reasonably priced and the restrooms were clean and usable.
I started with their iced tea and that was really refreshing. For food, I tried their red curry with rice and Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and Tofu. For dessert I had their Mango Ice Cream. I enjoyed all of the items and definitely recommend them depending on the preferences. Red curry if you are looking for spicy curry with rice. They also had different spice levels for food depending on the preferences of the customer. The place had an accessible entrance.

Every time I visit Eugene I have to come to Ta Ra Rin! The food is unbelievably delicious and true to Thai flavors and dishes from Thailand. The gingery salmon and pad see ewe are particularly noteworthy in my eyes as I can vouch for their quality and depth of flavor. Highly recommend coming here for a meal of you’re in town

Amazing service and tasty food! We had the pad Thai, pad kee mao, and their seasonal dessert. We just moved from Washington and this has been our favorite Thai place so far.

We really love this Thai restaurant in Eugene! Our drinks were great and the service was really good. The pot of gold appetizers were tasty! The mango curry was a chefs special and did not disappoint. The garlic prawns were also very tasty. Everything was fast and fresh. We will be back!

This is probably one of the tastiest Thai restaurants in town. The food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was a bit lame though. The waitress was not very attentive and we had a little one so when we wanted the check, no one was around for what felt like 10 minutes. They did provide some carrots for him to chew on, but they charched us 2 bucks. lol.
It was also really loud in the restaurant. Like hard to hear across the table loud. I’ll still go back for the food.

I loved this food. It was extremely busy. I’m here for a medical training. Walked to restaurant in lovely heat. The staff was friendly. Perhaps, they were overworked and busy. The staff gave an outstanding recommendation to try Swimming Lady dish. I usually go for green curry. Exceptional recommendation. Water was much appreciated. I might have ordered something to go for a snack as I’m adjusting to time and need gluten free options. The service was extremely kind and polite. Never checked on me, though. It took an excess amount of time to check out.

Their lava fish is amaaaazing! My partner always got the PKM and that’s also very good. Have tried their bbq ribs before too, so good! They serve the food really fast, but of course that might depend on how crowded it is. We’ve never had to wait >15mins so far, place was probably 50% full. Service has always been wonderful. Been a pleasant experience.

Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I tried the vegetable fried rice and the Pad Thai and both were bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly fresh. The seasoning was spot on, and the service was just as impressive. Ta Ra Rin is a must-visit in Eugene!

First time diners … shared a tom kha soup and then lava catfish (freshbtasting single fillet cut into 8 small squares lightly coated in a translucent cornstarch spiced breading and fried … not greasy, crisp, did not overpower the fish) and red curry with duck (good dark meat, unfortunately soft not crispy skin), Everything was good, much better than the majority of Thai restaurants we’ve eaten in ( Portland metro area) however it was not a memorable experience … the cuisine did not delight. Service was very good. Atmosphere is clean contemporary and comfortable… but a bit too bright. Portions were small for $20 a plate … the odd thing is that the portion of catfish and duck protein was acceptable but there was a lack of veggies, sauce, and fullness of the entre. Soup was a bit flat tasting … again good but not great. Solid B. But not a repeater.
