Honestly I’m so happy this buffet is here, I adore having the options that they give you, the buffet itself has a great variety and good quality of hot and cold seafood with other dishes in rotation so you won’t get bored going here a few times a month. The Sichuan hot pot was delightful and delicious, the variety they offer for the hot pot is crazy good for being included in the price. The sushi is delicious and put out often so nothing tastes old. The cold teas and bubble teas are fun and it’s even amazing how the soft drinks are included in the set price(unlimited refills!) what’s the best is you don’t have to tip if you don’t want to because they are 12% to your bill so there’s no guess work in figuring it out and the staffed is all tipped fairly and accordingly. Overall I love Umi and I will be back often because there’s so much variety and flavor packed seafood under one roof and in one set price.

The waitstaff were very pleasant and everything was clean.
The food was delicious. There was so much variety to choose from so I was able to try multiple things that I normally wouldn’t pay for if I wasn’t sure I’d eat it.
I would definitely go back. There’s more I want to try but I became too full to continue eating.

This is a nicely decorated buffet-style restaurant that encompasses seafood and Asian cuisine. The food is fresh and delicious. You have various options to choose from if you are leaning towards a certain type of food. The staff is really attentive and friendly. I highly recommend!

The food is delicious and fresh !! So much variety. My server well that was another thing she was so mean and rude. I was not finished having my meal and she removed all my stuff . I was not finished with my drink and she took it all. ‘IVY’ her name was ….I don’t think I will be going back to this place.

First of all, take any reviews you see regarding this place with a grain of salt. The waitress came to the table with an offering of lobster tail and steak to do a review. She sat there and watched over my shoulder as I posted a five star review originally. I edited it after actually eating. The lobster tail and steak were a 3 or 4 out of 10 at best.
I had high hopes for this place. I was thoroughly disappointed.
The buffet looks amazing. Spectacular set up. The service was very good.
The sushi is very subpar. The clams and oysters on the half shell had no flavor whatsoever. It’s visually stunning, but extremely disappointing.
Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be back.

Cutest new place in Middletown! The decor and atmosphere is fantastic!
Pro: 90% of the food was really good. Highlights include the pink heart-shaped sushi roll, the pork belly, the coconut shrimp, and fried rice. Mix of Asian, American, and Spanish (including oxtail and fried plantains) food, you definitely get an eclectic mix. Boba tea is included and super tasty!
Con: Although there’s a wide variety of desserts, most were pretty bland and had a weird alcohol taste. The ramen had a funky flavor and the egg was cold.
Overall, great place and I’d definitely return!

This buffet is so refreshing and pretty! Atmosphere is amazingly bright and cheerful with so much Asian decor. We stopped by for dinner. There’s so much seafood and a lot of options that I don’t usually see at other Asian buffets in NYC.
I love that the back had a refrigerator with different bubble teas and a variety of canned Asian teas and juices.
The waitstaff is all very friendly and fast, lots of smiles. I’m glad we were able to visit the prettiest buffet in the tri state area!
Military and seniors get 10%. Extremely recommend !
P.s. also my kid ran away from the bathroom super fast and I panicked when I couldn’t find her anywhere. Staff was quick to locate the distressed mother and point out the naughty toddler. Thank you to the wonderful staff !!!

First time coming here after our hike. Seems like a newly opened all you can eat place in the area. The place looks new and is clean. Pretty spacious place. Went on a weekend so the price is all day price. Have a variety of food. They have discounts for military personnel and seniors-remind the staff about it.
