I wouldn’t recommend. Our appetizer came burnt to a crisp, they did take it off the ticket but our meals were less than mediocre and the kids mac n cheese was so watered down it was a struggle to get the kids to eat it. The prices are awful high for the quality and the waitress are friendly but not attentive.

It is a very popular restaurant for the locals so it does get busy. But, it is a great place to have a meal. Busy or not you still get really good service, they are pretty fast with refilling beverages. The food is always delicious.

Update to respond to the reply from country kitchen. I never said it was my favorite. I said it was my husband’s favorite. And thanks for the answer that it was closed the day before and after because the workers wanted to be with their families. I guess the sign on the door saying it was closed due to an issue with the water pipe must of been a lie. I don’t give 1 star reviews just because I am a hateful person. I give many 5 star reviews as well as multiple other star reviews. I am honest. In what I experience. My experience with the country kitchen was poor I am sure the ppl at the huddle and Perkins also wanted to be with their families the day after Thanksgiving and I am sure the stores accommodated with them the best they could. But when you are on a vacation in a hotel room where do you think everyone goes to eat. Either way have a good Christmas.
Couldn’t tell ya how it was. We went the day before Thanksgiving and they were closed. We went there day after Thanksgiving and it was closed. Kind of sucks, my husband really wanted to go because it’s one of his favorites when in town. Back to Colorado we go.

We were seated right away after ordering the food came fast and was HOT. The food was great. Waiter even brought the fruit out first for my kids and then gave them candy afterwards. Will be visiting again when passing through

Went there with a large group. They seated us rather quickly and had excellent quick service. For as many meals as it was, it took two large trips for the staff, but everyone received their meals within 3 minutes or so of each other. Everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. The kids all really loved their Mr. Chippy option. The wait staff was friendly and efficient (patient too with the kids). I would recommend it as a great stop when traveling as a family or group!

So good I mean really good. The chicken grilled chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. I would’ve tried my daughter’s eggs Benedict if mine wasn’t so tasty. This is my go to place from now on.

Great food and many options to choose from! I recommend the burgers and meatloaf. They have burger Thursdays which is a great deal!Great portions and prices. The staff is really helpful and nice! It has a great atmosphere, definitely one of the best restaurants in Sedalia.
