ordered a to-go order at 8:20pm. Was around 8:51 I went inside to see if my order was ready 2 of the employees told me it would be just a second and they would bring it out to my car. I waited another 20 minutes went back inside at 9:25 over an hour later after I placed my order. Apparently my food had been ready and was sitting on the desk. Was told by 2 employees that they would bring my food out. At one point they brought an order out to my car but it was not my food. Overall experience was terrible to wait over an hour for a to-go order. Will not be eating here again! When I got to work to eat my food I had 8# french fries for a $25 meal. Big a hand full, but 8 fries. Terrible service from the girls working curbside delivery. It was the 2 blonde females who messed up my order and told me they would bring it out. Instead of checking the receipts correctly and making sure the customers get the correct food while it’s hot they would sit and laugh and talk with each other.

Great server with awsome recommendations. Ashanti greated us with a bright smile , a bubbly personality and had some great selections in mind when we asked her what was good. We had the mozzarella logs for an appetizer, cheeseburger sliders with waffle fries, Ragin Redfish w/creamy crawfish sauce, and the Cajun Ribeye add jumbo shrimp with cheese/bacon potatoes and broccoli…reigned bites for dessert!
Great place to watch the game. TVs everywhere you turn your head! Great outside seating as well! Would definitely try each again and every time we go we will be asking for Ashantis’ section!

Great food and service! I love this place, MJ is awesome!! We have been to Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Starkville multiple times. The food is incredibly delicious. We had a burger and the grown up grilled cheese today!! So good! Ample servings and excellent taste. The whole staff goes out of their way to make the experience enjoyable, already looking forward to coming back for another great time!!

Excellent customer service and hospitality from the beautiful Ms. Hailey a bartender there. I absolutely felt like a valued customer from the time she took the order until the end of my meal. Kenlee customer service was amazing. She had a good attitude, was very nice and she even let us meet her nephew. She waited on us patiently while we asked questions, and she check on us frequently. Thank you! GIVE HER A RAISE ! On top of the service, the food was delicious.

The J.L. King Community Center had our 2nd annual Mardi Gras ball fundraiser this past Thursday. Walk-On’s catered and brought the cash bar. Terry and his team are incredible! Terry is literally the man with a plan. He makes sure everything is setup and always lets you know he’s there for support. His team was kind, caring and overall awesome with the guests.
There were nothing but happy plates. I mean the food was wiped out and everyone loved it. Love, love the catfish and beignet bites especially. I always appreciate great service. Add in awesome food and people, and it’s a 20/10. Thank you all for helping to make our event an amazing one!

Walk Ons in Starkville never misses for a quick flavorful bite, chill bar atmosphere, and friendly attentive staff. Our waiter, Gabe, was patient and anticipated our needs before we had to ask. It’s a staple for my teenager and I when we need a break from the norm with tasty options right in our backyard.

Loved this sports bar! It was walking distance from our hotel, but we ended up returning for the second night in a row — not out of convenience, but because the food and staff were so awesome! Our servers both nights were kind, responsive, and helpful (even though it was incredibly busy). They also quickly corrected a mistake in my order the first night with kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend the burgers and the shrimp appetizer. They went out of their way both nights to accommodate our rather large party + a baby in a stroller, even checking in with us on our seating preferences. Definitely swing by for a fun atmosphere to watch your sporting event while eating great food and feeling well taken care of.

Perfect for what it is (a sports bar with a gazillion giant screens). Food was better than expected, service is delightful (thanks, Hailey W!), music isn’t too loud, room temp is comfortable. Maybe not an obvious choice for a solo working supper, but convenient, open late, and hit the spot.
