This review is regarding McDonald’s Restaurant #8060 located at 610 Hwy 96, Silsbee, TX 77656. The incident occurred on February 17, 2026 at approximately 7:36 PM. Order #1376, KS#13. The employee name on the receipt appears to be “Sidel.”
This is unfortunately not the first time we have experienced poor service at this location, but I had hoped things would improve. They have not.
At the drive-thru speaker, I began placing my order and the employee suddenly went completely silent. I had to say “hello” twice before she came back on — laughing. I started giving my order again and the exact same thing happened. She went silent again, and I had to say “hello” three more times before she responded — again laughing.
When we pulled up to the first window, she continued laughing and said, “Haha, what did I get wrong?” as if the interaction was a joke. I double-checked the receipt myself to ensure the order was correct.
At the second window, our drinks were handed to us with the lids not fully secured. I had to press them down myself after one spilled onto my car door. That is basic quality control and should not happen. Our food was then practically slung out the window with no courtesy or professionalism.
After pulling forward to check the order, the food quality was just as disappointing as the service. My son’s Happy Meal was poorly assembled, with ketchup smeared all over the outside of the bun instead of inside. My Hot ‘N Spicy sandwiches were also carelessly made, with the patties halfway off the buns and mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup all over the outside. It was sloppy, rushed, and unacceptable. I have photo proof of the condition of the food.
We frequent this location often because we live in Silsbee, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to support a local business when customers are treated with disrespect and given carelessly prepared food. At this point, I would rather drive to the Lumberton location, where the quality of food and customer service are consistently professional and welcoming.
This entire experience — from the speaker to the windows to the food itself — was unacceptable. Management seriously needs to address both employee behavior and food quality standards at this location. I will not be returning.

October 2025- I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese among other items tonight. I was served a raw burger. Both patties were raw. Don’t waste your time at this location.
July 2025- Dearest Mcdonalds, when I order a large chocolate shake, I expect two things. One, is to receive the size ordered not a small. Second, I expect the chocolate syrup to actually be mixed in the shake. What are y’all doing? I know what y’all aren’t doing. If negative stars were an option, that’s what you would receive. Do better.
May 2025- This is by far the worst restaurant in Silsbee. On various occasions, when you order curbside pickup, they bring out just your food, then act surprised that you dont have your drink by asking, “No one brought you your drink?” Umm, no.. why would you not bring the drink WITH the food?
Also, when you order at night through the drive-thru, you will be waiting a good while before you’re even acknowledged.
Do better, McDoanlds. What are yall doing?

From the first widow, waited to pay while some young kid say with his back to me didn’t greet me or anything until a manager finally came and told him to then I went to the second window and some young girl with long strawberry blondish hair just stood there with her back to the window then opened the window shoved my drink or at me without saying a word even after I said thank you just slammed the window after awhile she came back slammed the window opened handed me my Sunday with a spoon but without a lid, I again said thank you to which she just slammed the window turned her back to the window and just leaned up on it. I have never been to this location before idk what the deal is but it’s not good

The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because of the only worker that actually cares about his job and makes its right and his name is mason!! Whoever made my large mocha frappés there was ice chunks in it. And went we brought it to the managers attention she basically brushed us to the side just to talk to one of her associates!!! I didn’t know that talking to an associate was more important than a customer complaint , and I’m a manager myself in the retail world. To be honest I believe Mason needs to switch positions with the manager that worked tonight. Idk her name but she doesn’t need to be a manager if the customer is not her first priority. Even 16 year old Mason knows that the customer comes first. We had a little conversation and I believe he would be a great fit for her position. He knows a lot of things he just needs the opportunity. If he was old enough at my company I would train him and turn him into a manager right away. But Mason was the only one who makes sure things are correct. He remade our frappes and they were delicious and perfect

This McDonald’s could be better. The food was cold when we received it. We asked for fresh fries and chicken sandwich. It took the fryer a good minute to give go over to the fryer to drop another chicken. I did not like that. It could have been cooking while you make other sandwiches. My personal opinion…anyway. The young African American lady making all the bags, answering the phone, taking orders from the windows and cash register needs a raise. She was awesome. She asked 3 times about my sandwich. She made sure everyone up front had their meals and it was correct. If it wasn’t, she was fixing and handing it back. Overall, the location needs to hire some evening help. Once the food was complete it was ok. Fries were crispy, burgers made to order. Thats all I can say. Nothing extra here.

Worst McDonalds on earth. Can’t get a grip, doesn’t understand the concept of “fast” food. Unbelievable. I’ve ended up waiting over 30 minutes for orders multiple times. Will never come back.

I encourage the team to get a grip on their system they got goin. Every time I go in there in waiting 30 plus min waiting for my order while people who ordered after me get theirs. Dont know what the issue is but im certain they can be better than that

I placed order for a meal ask for no salt on fries it was salt on them. Allergic to salt. Tried to call to inform them they kept hanging up 3 times. Fries were cold because a person drove up to window and placed a order and waiting at window until order fulfilled.Driver Not ask to pull around. While everyone that place order food was getting cold. Unprofessional and uncalled for period. McDonald’s Silsbee terrible service.

Every time I go there to get a shake the ice cream machine is being cleaned why would you clean the machine in the evening at this time when everyone wants ice cream??, I’m talking 7:30 pm a decent manager would clean the machine in the morning when the need for ice cream is not there. I use their app a lot for their daily deals. Their McCafe beverages are my favorite. I love to get a caramel frappe with extra caramel drizzle and Oreo cookie pieces added. Today I tried the new Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel, and while it’s a little pricey. (The meal is $8)I have to admit I was very surprised by how good it was. It has grilled onions on top of the steak and idk what the sauce is that they put on it, but Holy Smokes it’s good. I would definitely say it’s worth the price.
