I love this restaurant. Everytime I order from here. The food is so fresh and tasty. I use to live in San Antonio Texas not to far from Mexico and they food is authentic and so is Maria’s Mexican restaurant. It don’t taste processed. I’ve had so many other Mexican restaurants in Charlotte and no one else could compare. Everyone is always welcoming when I come here. Everyone must try and dine here! Thank me later! I promise you will be addicted to all the food here.

Maria’s was such an awesome spot to grab some Mexican. Authentic and true Mexican fare. They have a huge offering of birra, fro tacos, burritos, quesadillas, ramen all the way to pizza… they are really leaning into the birra.
For food, Went for the tacos and quesadilla, they were both excellent! They also had a $7 margarita special going on when we went, with strawberry margaritas, which were amazing!
Our waitress was super comfortable and kind, she made us feel like friends. Food came out fast and accurate. Overall, loved this place! I know my friend who lives in Charolette almost exclusively goes here for Mexican. Well done!!

We stopped in while in town after a review by Mr. Chimetime on the Birria tacos. With it being taco Tuesday we both had to get an order of one chicken one beef. I also went with the special dinner because I knew the two tacos wouldn’t fill me up. Those birria tacos were the best I’ve ever had. Just pure excellence. The tamale was okay and the cheese dip..that was the downside of the meal. It tasted like Tostitos queso Blanco straight from a jar. My wife enjoyed her margarita and my Tecate hit the spot. I’d definitely come back again to try more birria items as the menu is HUGE.

I heard so many great things about this restaurant so I had to try it however personally for me it was ok. I got the birria pizza which is supposed to be a hot seller and it was just okay nothing special about the flavor stood out for me. The shrimp birria was okay. Surprisingly the mushroom birria was the best thing I ordered it was really good . My girlfriend had the whole fish she said it was fried really good but lacked flavor. I would go back for the mushroom birria and to try the ramen. Fast friendly service!

Amazing food! The birria sampler is a must-try—perfectly seasoned, tender meat and a great portion for sharing. Even though they were busy and seemed a bit short-staffed, the ladies working were so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic flavor!

The special dinner was pretty good. Chile relleno was delicious I could eat a few of those. Tostada was great especially the guac. The rest of the items were not amazing. Had to go find our waiter in order to get the check. Probably would have ordered a few desserts but just wanted to leave after waiting so long. They have the old school booths so you feel every movement from the other side of the booth. Had a kid rocking ours back and forth for 30 minutes. Overall I would go back but there are better options in the area.

This was my first time here. It didn’t take long for us to be seated. Very casual dining experience. I was told this place had some of the best birria tacos on this side of town so I had to try it. Our server was Daniel, he was attentive and got our food out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend the quesabirria and the quesa shrimp. I also had the raspberry margarita. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!
