Having worked at many coffee shops myself, it’s pretty basic etiquette to ring someone up before you spend five minutes making their drinks. Otherwise the customer is left standing at the counter with their card in hand when they could have taken a seat and avoided creating a line behind them at the register. How you can be a forty year old barista without these simple manners is hard to explain.

I am so happy we decided to stop here. I got a tall Irish cream latte, and it was one of the best lattes I’ve had in years. It wasn’t overly bitter or too sweet. It had the perfect foam ratio. And the latte art was beautiful of course! Their go-to roast was just really tasty!!
I also had a coffee cake, which was so moist and flavorful. I should have ordered some to go, it was soooo good.
Loved seeing the local art and flyer wall. Local spots like this really enrich a community.

They make the best coffee in Kansas City. Sometimes you go to a coffee shop and it never tastes the same. Not here. The coffee is always consistent. And the vibe is perfect. My favorite of all time.

Broadway Cafe is one of my favorite coffee shops in KC! Their coffee is amazing with great prices! The staff is always friendly and welcoming when I come. The cafe is a great place to do some work or meet up with friends!

We were in Kansas City for a Chiefs game, and this place was around the corner from where we were staying. We went the first morning and the last night we were there. The guy working there remembered us and even wished us safe travels on out way back. That goes to show the level of customer service at this place! On top of that, the coffee was great!

The guy at the counter was efficient and friendly.
The blueberry muffin was great with actual blueberries. The carrot cake was delicious.
The cost was reasonable.
