Ok! This was a pleasant surprise as we stopped
for a quick brunch. Lemme tell you. That fried chicken is the real one. The collards, rice and cornbread is just an extra touch. The real show is the fried chicken. Was our first time there. We had plans on eating in, but there was no seating available. Not a deal breaker. Yes! We will return and yes we will be getting that damn fried chicken.

The fried chicken is outstanding, but the sides steal the show: deeply flavorful collards, black-eyed peas, and surprisingly delicious broccoli. Cornbread comes with your choice of spread; the jalapeño was perfect — just enough kick without overpowering. The place is spotless (among the cleanest I’ve seen), thanks to DeAndre running a tight ship. Geneva’s Famous Chicken is the real deal — a perfect hybrid of fast-food speed and sit-down quality (note the 2% dine-in fee). Easily worth a special trip to Savannah.

The baked turkey wings and rice were solid and satisfying, and the cornbread was quite good. The mac and cheese was just okay, while the baked squash didn’t look very appealing and the taste and texture were off-putting. The apple spice butter unfortunately tasted more like cheese than apples, which made me wonder if it might not have been fresh.

We stopped on our way through to Florida. This was the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! It was so light but full of crunch & flavor – hot all the way through and juicy! The pecan cornbread was simply delicious!! If we’re ever back in Savannah we will be certain to stop here!!

Love this place! Family owned, food made with love and care and the owners even select top notch cuts or they won’t serve it all and tell you suitable shipments haven’t come in. The fried chicken and turkey wings are my favorite go to’s. Plus, they have multiple flavors of cornbread. I like the blueberry

I really like the beautiful design of this restaurant, its very soulful and southern. I recieved prompt service while dining here but the wait for food was a bit longer than expected. But the taste of the food made up for the long wait. The food was delicious and very flavorful. I would definitely dine here again!

DeAndre was so attentive to the needs of our family and our food was simply delicious and perfectly seasoned.
Each entree was artfully garnished and when I tell you each dish came out smoking hot and with so much attention to detail. It was a spectacular and memorable moment for our family.

Great food but if you order takeout on a Sunday afternoon be prepared to wait 45 mins minimum for your food.
Food was good but not quite a 5 star meal. Cornbread was excellent and 2 piece white meal was good. Not enough food for the money but it was a good meal.
Overall I give them 4/5 stars.

✨Great southern restaurant with fantastic Cornbread! Recommend the golden and buttery Fried Fish. Shrimp was also delicious. Solid lemon pepper wings.
