– Good food: We tried two dishes and both were tasty, but one of them came without any side or sauce, etc.
– Very disappointing service: the main waiter who was taking the order was absolutely rude and not friendly at all when asked to help us with choosing our dishes. They weren’t friendly and from the first encounter they gavee a negative vibe. They also didn’t come to pour wine after long time with empty glass… I finally asked one of the waiters to pour for us.
– Good view toward the bay.
I won’t go there again, despite the good food.

⭐ 1 Star – Disappointing Experience, Likely Discriminated for Having Children
We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant on July 10th. We arrived as a family of four (two adults and two small children) around 1pm. The restaurant was completely empty at the time, and although a few tables had “reserved” signs, there were still many free. A gentleman waiter kindly began to seat us.
However, as we were being led to our table, a woman suddenly came from the inside, looked at us, and abruptly told us they were “fully booked” — despite the fact that no reservations had been mentioned until that moment. We left feeling confused and uncomfortable.
We ended up having a wonderful meal at the restaurant right next door, which gave us a direct view into the original restaurant for over an hour (from 12:30 to 2pm). It never filled up — not even close. Tables remained empty throughout.
It felt very clear to us that the rejection was not about reservations, but rather because we had children with us. If that’s the case, it’s incredibly disappointing and discriminatory. Families deserve the same respect as any other diners.
Definitely not an establishment I would recommend or return to.

A perfect location where you expect to pay more for just sitting enjoying the views and people watching.
Fornells is a beautiful place to explore but unfortunately this restaurant didn’t live up to its surroundings.
We were seated quickly by a welcoming lady, this is where it went down hill. We were then left for 20 minutes waiting for someone to bring a menu and to order a drink.
It would appear that with us being British, they only wanted certain waiting staff to serve us.
After ordering drinks – these came and despite me ordering in Spanish were wrong.
Again we ordered food. Advertised on the menu was that fish came with potatoes and veg and meat came with chips. As we don’t like chips we ordered from the fish menu. We could see everyone had a lovely plate of food that had ordered fish. Unfortunately ours came out with chips and padron peppers. We really felt like we were second class and not welcome. The waiters were even clearing the table we were sat on whilst we were eating.
Really disappointed and ruined a lovely trip to Fornells.

We had a dinner including grilled squid , sea bass and prawns. The food were ok but not exceptional. However the staff was extremely friendly we’ve got an excellent service. The price was the same as anywhere else in the neighbourhood.

We visited this restaurant today as a couple with our two kids (a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old baby). When we arrived, we kindly asked if we could just have a drink and were seated at a table. Shortly after, the staff asked what food we would be ordering. When we explained that we only wanted drinks, they told us that the table we were seated at was for “restaurant” guests and that we should be seated elsewhere — something that had not been mentioned before.
From that moment on, the experience was very uncomfortable. We were given the check without asking for it and, while we were still sitting, several different employees came by repeatedly asking if they could clear the table. It felt like we were being pushed to leave simply because we didn’t order food.

Popular, very busy restaurant with excellent reputation. It didn’t disappoint. The filling in the pancakes was fishy and light. The pancakes succulent. The sauce fruity and plentiful. Creme brûlee had a proper crust of caramelized sugar on the top. Enjoyed every bit of it. I including the sea across the road and clean white tablecloths.

Great place with great food and good service….. Impromptu stop for dinner before going back to our resort…. Fish dishes are amazing…. If you try one thing make sure it’s the Glacian clams – no sauce needed just as they come…. Expect the bill to be 100 euros for a proper meal for two including a bottle of wine and dessert……
