I ordered the chicken kebab platter and it was excellent. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and everything on the plate tasted fresh and well prepared. For dessert, I had the Om Ali, which was warm, comforting, and the perfect way to end the meal.
You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the service. I’m really glad I stopped by and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.
I visited Tasa2go with a group of friends — and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt welcoming. The owner and his team were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they serve, which always sets the tone for a great meal.
We started with the Tasa Mix (طاسه ميكس), and it was a showstopper. The platter included:
• 2 Beef Kofta
• 2 Kababs wrapped in lamb fat
• 2 Lamb chops
• 2 Lamb kabobs
Everything was served on a fresh bed of parsley and onions, alongside a classic Egyptian salad, smoky baba ganoush, tahini sauce, and freshly baked bread made in-house. Every protein was grilled to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and clearly fresh.
The beef shawarma sandwich instantly transported me back to Cairo. Served on fresh buns, it was generously packed with tender beef mixed with tahini and garlic sauce, cilantro, and tomato. The flavor was deeply savory with that unmistakable umami hit—comforting, bold, and incredibly satisfying.
The beef hawawshi was another highlight. Made with their homemade bread, perfectly browned, and filled edge-to-edge with seasoned ground beef, it delivered exactly what a proper hawawshi should: crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside.
For something more adventurous, we tried the fried beef liver and fried beef brain sandwich. Golden brown and served with arugula and tahini, with lime and jalapeño on the side, it was so well executed that it honestly didn’t need any additions—rich, balanced, and expertly done.
Even the shrimp sandwich impressed, holding its own among a very strong lineup.
From the food to the service to the overall energy, Tasa2go absolutely passed the vibe check. Everything we tried was spot on, and it’s clear this is a place that takes pride in delivering authentic Egyptian flavors done right. If you’re looking for bold, comforting, and genuinely well-crafted Egyptian street food, this is a must-visit.
I had the best Egyptian food since I came to the United States at Tasa2Go in Fullerton. I haven’t been back to Egypt since I was 17 years old, and this place instantly took me back home. Every bite reminded me of the authentic Egyptian flavors I grew up with — it brought back memories of my dad taking me to Egyptian restaurants and the joy of those moments.
The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. You can taste the love and care in every dish. I also want to thank Raymond, the owner, for his amazing hospitality and excellent service. He makes you feel like family the moment you walk in.
If you’re looking for real Egyptian food that captures the heart and soul of Egypt, Tasa2Go is the place to go. Highly recommended!
