Mexican eatery with multiple mole options, Taco Tuesday deals & tequila served in colorful quarters.

My first visit to this location wasn’t bad. I came 12/9/25 for Taco Tuesday. The restaurant layout is very nice and spacious and the outdoor area with fire heaters is super nice. The service was great also. My minor issues was with the outdoor taco bar setup. The outdoor staff was very nice and friendly but the guy that was cooking the shells was backed up most of the time and you had to wait in the line to get your tacos. I usually go to the Emeryville location and it’s actually only one guy doing the shells and he’s also making the tacos but he makes em fast and he makes a lot of extras so they are ready when you walk up and no wait. I thought it would be just as fast or faster here since it’s two employees working it. Also I’m not a fan of how the cooked meat is handled meaning the beef, chicken and pork all touching each other and being served with the same tongs. I feel the difference meats should be in individual heat trays with its own tongs. That type of layout keeps the meat separate and the meat can sit in its cooked juices and keeps the meat juicy vs being so dry. The chicken was kinda dry and bland and the pork was overcooked and bland and the beef (cheeks) being cooked didn’t look appealing to me. I’m gonna give this place another try and hopefully they make a few small adjustments for taco Tuesday putting some seasoning in the meat etc.

Looking to try Mexican Mole? Don’t know which color to try? Wonder no more, Los Moles offers a buffet where you can sample several of their signature moles, all of them were really good. I don’t eat pork so I can’t vouch for the ones with pork in it but all the chicken ones were delicious.
They had hand made tortillas too!
Prices were decent, we’re planning to stop by again next time we are in the area.

Love this place the steak nachos are amazing big enough to share if you are not too hungry. The chicken soup is a staple for me when I need something nurturing or feel under the weather I can door dash. The staff is always so friendly. Also their house margaritas are delicious.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was absolutely incredible—bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional, with attentive waitstaff who ensured we had everything we needed throughout the night. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the impeccable hospitality, made this celebration truly special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an elevated and unforgettable Mexican dining experience!

Decent food. I had a special that night- crab enchiladas- they we’re generous with the portions and the cilantro rice was very good
I felt the homemade tortilla was too thick for a delicate product like crab but flavor was good

Relaxed spot with plenty of outdoor, dog-friendly seating. I love their affordable buffet—great value for non-vegetarians. Vegetarian choices felt limited and the desserts were a letdown, though the rice and beans were quite nice. I also got to try mole for the first time, which was a win. Overall, a solid pick for non-vegetarians; adding a protein like tofu would make it much better for vegetarians.

We made a reservation for 23 people at 6:15 PM on the outside patio, but when we arrived the restaurant seemed completely unprepared for our group. They placed us at two separate tables side by side with only one waitress handling both. Unfortunately, she forgot to take the order from the second table, and I had to get up multiple times to find her so we could order.
One table received their food long before the other, which made the whole situation feel awkward and poorly managed. What was most disappointing, however, was when the kitchen staff became confrontational with my uncle simply because he was wearing a Cruz Azul soccer jersey. They started saying they were Chivas fans and made it into an unnecessary issue.
We were there to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and instead the experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. The service was extremely disappointing.

Yeeooo!!! My friends from the Bay know me well. This place was fire and worth the drive from the Valley! I made sure not to overdo it & tried most of the moles. I will have to come back for the pozole & menudo. We showed up on a weekend, & they had the buffet option. Okay, all the moles are really tasty & traditionally made. My favorite was the mole Elena! 10 outta 10. Least favorite de pipian! 7 outta 10. But what took me for a loop was the cochinita pivil. 12 outta 10. I would go back just for that! Rice and beans 9 outta 10! You can’t go wrong with homemade tortillas! Bomb! The dessert all really good. Tried the cafe de hoya. 9 outta 10! The buñuelos 10 outta 10! The fruit was fresh and sweet. Flan was okay, but the arroz con leche made up for it! There was a señor making carnitas by the entrance. Didn’t try them, but still took a picture. The smell was amazing, so I’m sure they taste great! Finally, price! We did the buffet, so it was $25 per person! 8 outta 10 because the options and quality are on point! Zero issues giving it my seal of approval #gorditoapproved #fatboyapproved

We decided last minute to eat here while my EV charged. It was lunchtime on a Saturday so relatively busy but we were seated right away. He decided on the buffet which offered lots of variety. I opted for prawns in mango mole. OMG! As delicious as it looks. There was even a (very good) mariachi band! Friendly staff, reasonably priced, hearty portions and plenty of free parking. This is my new fav for traditional Mexican.

First time going here, but heard from those that went here an say its worth the travel to go if dont live close by like me but glad I went. This restaurant comes with a buffet place that has abit of different types of Mole made different ways also there is a other dishes in the menu provided an table serves as well. Your only problem will be which one to try first. Plenty of outdoor or indoor seating with good table service an thid place has a full bar inside. So its a place for all ages. Also if cold outside the outside seating is provided with fire lanterns for cozy meals to enjoy.
