Delicious food and funky atmosphere! Stopped in for brunch and we ordered the Amazing Flying Crab & the Crab Dip Grilled Cheese and both were PHENOMENAL!
Just be warned – their “house made hot sauce” is a HABANERO sauce and has a kick! ️ I’m sure spice junkies would love it though!
Overall, great food, good service, and reasonable prices. ✨

Stopped in here thus morning after f3 with some great dudes. What an awesome restaurant. I had the Flying Dutchman. A savory and awesome breakfast. Perfectly cooked potatoes with peppers, and scrapple, toast, and eggs (mine were over easy) stacked on top. A dish that left me grateful for such high quality products and amazing service and care going into making it. Their coffee was of the best quality also. Had mine dark roast and black. Highly recommended all around. A meal that was definitely a blessing to try. God bless!

Came here on a snowy day. Parking lot was clear and tons of parking. Menu was great; ordered the hot mess 10/10! Our server was fast and kind. I would visit again!

First time checking out Sunflower Cafe – drawn by the Dog friendly patio, but the food was SENSATIONAL. Very unique menu, and it all sings. Friendly, thoughtful staff. Came on a Friday morning – got busy around 9:30. Apparently the weekends are pretty busy, so I’d come early.

The wait time was HORRIBLE. We waited around 30 minutes to get seated and then another 30-45 to get our food It was pretty busy but still inconvenient. The server was very sweet, told us about the special, the different sauces, etc..
The food itself wasn’t life changing, but it wasn’t disappointing. The first couple of bites were amazing, but as you kept eating it didn’t taste like anything crazy. The buttermilk pancakes were pretty good, but definitely needed the additional maple syrup. The special of the day was very good, super stuffed on the inside which was a nice surprise. The So-Cal wrap was a little bit disappointing. However, the food did all taste very fresh, and the homemade hot sauce was delicious.
Overall, would come again to enjoy some brunch, but the food is not worth waiting for during peak time.

My first time here and we will definitely be back! The home fries were the best I’ve ever had and the Reuben ($11) was delicious. The crab grilled cheese ($15) was super cheesey with lots of crab flavor.

Amazing food and wonderful staff! First place my family thinks about when going someplace for breakfast. Always busy. The food is a unique blend of modern and Pennsylvania Dutch. The Flying Dutchman is delicious and would make even the old traditional Dutch farmers impressed!

Shorty’s has been my husband’s and my go-to favorite breakfast spot for nearly 4 years now. We eat breakfast here a few times a month, and it is hands-down our favorite. I am a creature of habit, so I almost always get the same exact thing (the potato bomb!) and it’s always a perfect breakfast. My husband loves to try everything, and he has never been disappointed. They often have amazing specials on the board when you walk in, and he enjoys checking out the rotating options they’re always coming up with. When they ask you what kind of toast you want, DEFINITELY go for the zucchini bread— it is otherworldly good. The super sweet waitresses are always so kind and friendly, and they keep the coffee flowing the whole time. If you are looking for a new breakfast spot, don’t hesitate to come here!

We came from out of town to try this place based on its google reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a Sunday, and there was like a 20 minute wait for two of us to get a table. After being seated, service was ok…not perfect, but not necessarily bad either. My husband and I both really enjoyed our breakfast meals that we ordered, and we both agreed that we liked the breakfast potatoes here. More often than not, we can’t seem to find a place that has good breakfast potatoes, so it was a pleasant surprise. We loved that they have some menu items that are different from a lot of other breakfast places, and the prices were fair. It’s unfortunate that this place is a little far away for us, but on days we have a little extra time for breakfast, we will definitely consider this as an option.
