We had a great first time experience! Firstly, it was slammed, to me a good sign. Secondly, when we were seated our waitress had quite a few tables. When I tell you she didn’t skip a beat, the service was impeccable!
There were 4 at our table we order southwest egg rolls to start, they were amazing!
Between the 4 of us we got, chicken fingers and fries, hamburger and sweet potato waffles, pizza, and steak fajitas.
Everything was great, minus when the pizza came out the toppings were raw. We’re from up north so not sure if that’s a southern thing but other than that it was great!
We found our new favorite place. I would highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick lunch at Jonathan’s Grille and was impressed from the start. The staff was friendly and seated me right away—no wait at all. I ordered the Salmon Spinach Salad, and the salmon was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The salad itself was fresh and vibrant, though the citrus herb vinaigrette was a bit heavy, slightly overpowering what could have been an otherwise perfect dish. The fresh avocado and sun-dried tomatoes were a great touch, and the shaved Parmesan planks added nice texture, though a little less would’ve sufficed.
Victoria went above and beyond by offering to make things right, which I politely declined—but her attentiveness truly elevated the experience. Would I eat here again? Absolutely. Jonathan’s has a lively, welcoming atmosphere with upbeat music and a warm, inviting vibe that makes it worth coming back.

This is my second night at Johnathan’s and I’m loving it here. The bartender, Gage, remembered my drink order the second night which was a pleasant surprise. I ate at the bar both times, the food was good, and I really loved the service. Feels like a cozy locals bar not far from the crazy lights of Broadway. If Broadway is too much for you I recommend this place. I’ll be back.

Went to the NYE Big Bash and got cold standing outside so we decided to duck into this hidden GEM of a place. We were a bit surprised that only 1 TV in the whole place was tuned to the live NYE concert events here in Nashville just a few blocks away. When we asked they quickly caught on and changed the TVs over and even had the sound on so everyone could hear Jason Aldean singing! It was a great choice and very happy we found it. The Boneless Chicken was perfection and can’t wait to stop back again!

This was exactly what I needed! Staying in downtown Nashville at Townplace Suites was nice but after three days I got sick of hotel food. I could walk to broadway with all the tourists but I just wanted real, clean food. The valet steered me to Jonathon’s. Three blocks away. The downstairs area was packed but they told me they had an upstairs rooftop bar area. It was PERFECT!!! Gage the bartender was super friendly and steered me through the menu. He was right on point and the food was delicious! The people were friendly. It wasn’t super busy upstairs and it seemed more local than touristy. Gage was an amazing bartender, server and guide to what I would like on the menu based on my description and he was 100% on point. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT! Thank you Gage and Jonathons for making it a wonderful experience!!!

Solid venue. Good food options and GF and Vegetarian as well. Went for lunch on a Monday but am certain weekend during football season this is a great place to watch the games. Service was nice, good was good and portions were large.

This was our second time here attending a private event in the rooftop bar area. Our waiter was a rockstar. Efficient, told us everything that was on happy hour, made recommendations and hustled the entire time even though the place was jammed.
We had wings (excellent), fried pickles – good but not a fan of the tiny slivers, horseradish sauce was great. I’ve also had the lime shrimp bowl which is excellent. Really cool place to spend an evening.

Excellent spot. The quesadilla (not pictured) was great. The bam bam shrimp was above average, but overpriced for what was delivered. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely explore more of the menu.
