We ordered way too much food, but it was all delicious. The amount of meat they give you to cook yourself at the table was ample, and they had buffet-style sides that were kept neat and well stocked. Our server, Monela, made sure we had drinks and everything we needed for a nice lunch.
Overall, we felt it was well worth the price. My daughter has gone there many times before with co-workers, but this was my first time. I will definitely be going back.
It was relaxing and delicious, which is what I always hope for in a lunch out.
First off, let’s address the wait. We had a 30-minute wait to get a text notification that our table was ready, but honestly, it was 100% worth the wait! The time flew by, and the seamless process of getting a text made the anticipation part of the fun.
Once seated, the experience kicked into high gear. The meat quality is exceptional—so fresh! You can truly taste the difference in their cuts, making the all-you-can-eat experience feel premium. Cooking the selection of meats at our table was fun and everything was delicious.
The service was great, with our server being attentive and quick to clear plates and check on us. The entire environment is beautiful, with a modern, lively atmosphere that makes for a perfect night out. Plus, it’s always a bonus when a popular spot has plenty of parking—no stress finding a space!
If you’re looking for top-notch Korean BBQ and hot pot in Aurora, make the trip to KPOT. Just plan for a little wait, and prepare for an incredible meal! Highly recommend!
They do not take reservations so you have to take a chance on arriving at a time suitable for a larger party. We had four adults and five littles, We arrived at 6:00 and luckily, we were seated immediately.
This is an all you can eat setting. It comes with all you can eat kbbq And if anyone wants hot pot at the table, everyone has to order hot pot and it’s an additional $5 per person. We stuck with kbbq only.
I was a little shocked that they did not bring banchan to the table. I was also concerned when I asked my server if the banchan was coming out and she didn’t know what I was talking about. How do you work at a Korean BBQ restaurant and not know what banchan is! She let me know that there is a small “appetizer buffet” In the very back of the restaurant. It had many sauces, kimchi, pickled radishes, fruit, a couple of desserts and some fries and chicken nuggets. I was very disappointed that they did not have banchan. That’s my favorite. I survived with the kimchi and pickled radishes.
Anywho, They have you order all of the meat you want, It’s not limited, And you have 2 hours to eat everything you order. There was a great selection of meats and vegetables for the grill. So that was good.
Overall, Our server was not the most attentive or knowledgeable and sadly she was witnessed not washing her hands after using the restroom. That’s just not okay with me.
The food was good, Just missing banchan.
The kimchi and pickled radishes and sauces were good as well.
Would I return, probably not. Only because it’s not the kbbq experience that I enjoy.
The bathroom was filthy.
I’m from Georgia and the Kpot there is so much better and cleaner! This place needs to take notes because this was the worse experience for me
Our night started off meeting up at 6pm for birthday plans. I arrived at 5:30 to inform the hostess and get on the wait list for our 14 person group (big family). I was told we would have to split the group into an 8 person table and a 6 person table. No problem there.
Around 6:45 was when we were contacted the first time and we were told a 8 person table is ready but the 6 person table was not ready. With recluctance, We decided to send in the kiddos and the older family members to get started eating.
After waiting outside with the remaining 5 people for an hour (7:45) I went in and asked how much longer it was going to be since we were waiting so long. The hostess (which must have been new) seemed slightly flustered but told us they were clearing a table for us now. I grabbed the other 5 people and went in to be seated with them. Before seating us they had a long conversation in a language I couldnt understand (little rude but ok). After about 3 minutes I was told they only had a 4 person table available. This clearly didnt work as we had 6 people.
Their compromise to this was to sit 2 additional people with the 8 and sit the 4 down. Since this was the only option they had and i had already been waiting for 2 hours we agreed
Sitting at the 8 person table immediately I did not feel welcome. The grill was already filled with people’s food. All of the kpot burners were in use so me and one other got NO access to hotpot. This was further made worse since I didnt even get a water from the server after 20 minutes.
The servers did well given their situation (shoutout to the server who said happy birthday and fist bumped me). The food was mid at best. The best thing I ate was the tiramisu cake.
We did not even recieve an apology or compensation from the management. (Not even the slice of cake was free lol) Walking away with that experience and spending 500+$ is an absolute shame. I do not plan on returning after this horrible experience.
