My friend and I came here for the first time for great pasta and it did not disappoint!! Divina was our server and she was amazing! She made sure we got fresh bread out first which was to die for!! The drinks were fantastic! The food came out super quick and was absolutely delicious! Don’t forget to try dessert!! Divina was a great, requesting her while you still can! 10/10

Stopped in to Giovanni’s for a quick lunch with my cousin. The service was great. The waitress was attentive even though she was doubling as the bar tender as well. Kudos to her. We ordered the shrimp scampi, calamari, and a Caesar salad. The calamari was nice and tender. The scampi, which had tons of fresh garlic was pretty good. Unfortunately our bread for the table was burnt. Would have given the the food 4 stars if not for a small foreign object in my dish. Overall worth the visit.

My review is kind of late but I wanted to share my opinion, Giovannis at lake Mary is absolutely spot on! From their crust to their fresh pizzas are no disappointment! I had the pleasure of ordering from Ryan and Amy and they were extremely helpful with any questions I had along with their suggestions. I typically get a cheese pizza because I’m basic but they encouraged me to try the margherita and I was not disappointed! My order also included a sandwich which the recommended sandwich from Amy and ryan was the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich. My daughter absolutely loved it and she’s a picky eater! All in all this establishment is doing a great job as well as it’s employees! 10/10 would recommend!

I’m giving service and atmosphere the middle because I didn’t actually go I ordered their food through doordash. I ordered two meals one for me and one for Mom. I got the eggplant parmesan. The portion was pretty small number one, number two the pasta sauce was just plain sauce it tasted like it was poured directly out of a jar. There were two tiny pieces of eggplant which happened to be freezer burnt, there was no olive oil or any type of flavoring to the food at all. Completely Bland and lackluster. Mom got the pasta carbonara with chicken, the grilled chicken was hard and crusty. Pause the carbonara supposed to have bacon in the sauce There was literally no bacon in the sauce at all the sauce didn’t look like much of anything. It just way too dark to be Carbonara sauce mom said she don’t know what the hell that is. We still ate about half of our food because obviously it’s bought and paid for but I would never order from here again, and I mean never ever ever ever ever ever ever. Any Italian restaurant I’ve ever ordered a dinner from at least comes with a garlic bread, no garlic bread was provided though my mom’s meal did come with a big piece of white bread, basically a whole year old without the stuffing

We ordered takeout from Giovanni’s, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The bags were so greasy that they stained my car seats, and even the kids’ Alfredo was oily and unappetizing. My child wouldn’t eat it. For the price, I expected much better quality and care.

We came into Giovannis for lunch, i was instantly greeted by our server named Katie, she was absolutely wonderful. She was engaging, friendly, and maintained such a positive attitude throughout our visit. Our drinks were consistently taken care of without us ever having to ask, which really stood out compared to many other restaurants. The attentiveness and service we received truly deserve recognition. She made our experience exceptional, now for the food we got the margarita pizza with cauliflower crust and it was outstanding, the taste brought me back to my childhood, we enjoyed it very much and will be back for more in the near future.

I had a great experience at Giovanni’s in Lake Mary. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. My friends and I have been to Giovanni’s, and last night reminded us exactly why we keep coming back!
Our server Annmarie was absolutely phenomenal. She took the time to make thoughtful recommendations to our entire party (though I have to admit, I was already set on the shrimp scampi!). Even though the restaurant was busy, she never made us feel rushed or forgotten. She was attentive, patient, and genuinely kind – the kind of server who makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another table. Her warmth and professionalism really elevated our entire evening.
The shrimp scampi was outstanding – perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp in a rich, flavorful sauce with just the right balance of garlic, lemon, butter, and wine. Every bite was delicious! And I have to mention the bread – it was so good that our table finished the first basket, and Annmarie graciously offered us a second loaf without us even having to ask. (I may have taken some home – it was that good!)
The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, and despite being busy, the restaurant maintained excellent service throughout. Giovanni’s strikes the perfect balance – it’s great for a date night, special occasion, or just catching up with friends like we were.
I’ll absolutely be back (as always!), and I’d recommend Giovanni’s to anyone looking for authentic Italian food with exceptional service. Ask for Annmarie if you can – she’s amazing!!
