Food being cooked to order, I’m use to food from waffle House being too hot to eat. Somehow my food was lukewarm just like the coffee and the atmosphere.
I’m use to very friendly environments when dining at a waffle House.
When we pulled up, we thought we were in for some classic Waffle House chaos. There was a table of young guys—one looked like a Ned Flanders impersonator, another had neon green hair and Billie Eilish vibes—but they were just there for some late-night food and good vibes. No wild stories to report—everyone in the restaurant was surprisingly well-behaved!
The best part of the night was the staff. The waitress taking care of the group even went outside to take a picture for them—just so sweet.
And our waitress, Cindi, was an absolute gem. She had the warmth and hospitality of Dolly Parton herself. My 13-year-old daughter was a little hesitant to eat (thanks to some legendary Waffle House horror stories she’d heard), but Cindi made sure she felt welcome and even brought her a waffle to ease her nerves. She was also incredibly thoughtful about my food allergies, which I deeply appreciated.
Thank you, Cindi, for turning a simple late-night stop into a memorable experience. We only wish we lived closer!
To add to this, the cook was very kind when they brought my food, even though it was wrong, they fixed it. Savannah was my server.. please don’t talk badly about your customers super loudly in front of everyone it’s not professional..
