We came because Music City Bar and Grill was recommended to us. I was on a mother/daughter trip w/ an underaged child. There is a sign on the door stating that “no one under 21 is allowed in the bar.” The whole place is a bar, no restaurant-just a heads up. We were able to sit and enjoy live music and eat though. The food is typical bar food-but the portions were huge and really good. The pretzel was delicious! Service is slow and it’s a bit confusing, as you seat yourself, get a menu from the bar and order food and drinks from the bartender. Not a big deal but it can be confusing if it’s your first time there. The live music was good and the atmosphere had some cool decor.

We dropped in to just check the place out with a party of five. We ordered some food and had some drinks. There was what we thought was just a live band playing. We were wrong. It was a band that put on a show for us and the food was fantastic. Joey Schmidt (Alan Jackson’s key board player) was there playing in the band! They had great singers with great jokes! Including a guy that referred to himself as “Fraud Stewart”. Great food! Great environment! Very entertaining! It was truly incredible!

We visited there on Saturday and had the pleasure of hearing Doc Martin and the Mysterious cowboys. That is the best 6 piece band I have ever heard. Definitely should be in prime time..

This is the BEST spot in Nashville. The bands are great. The bartenders/servers are great, special shoutout to Savannah, KJ, and Lindsey. They all take good care of everyone. Food is delicious and there’s a decent variety on the menu.

Wonderful music, probably my favorite music I have heard around nashville. Bands were very good and played that old 70-80-90s country all night. Very much enjoyed

I had a great experience eating at the Music City Bar and Grill. They had a great selection of different craft beers. All of the food I have ordered here have been absolutely delicious and the service has always been quick and friendly. They have some great musical performances that take place here. Its got a great location near the Grand Ole Opry. I recommend coming here if you are in Nashville.

Tell me a Nashville bar who has bands singing their own stuff on a Monday and here you go. Cmon people. Know your audience. Sing to them not to yourself you selfish singers. It’s Monday. Let the conference people songs they know.

This place is where you want to be if you are looking for old country music from the 70’s through the 90’s. Every band/artist has been around the block and knows a wide variety of country music. You will not be disappointed.

Had a great brunch. Food was excellent. We got there 11 AM and not one soul was in there, 30 minutes later tour bus of 30+ came in and invaded the bar lol. Fun times

Great music and terrible food and service. It took 1 hour for food to come out and to add insult to injury, they forgot to put in half of our table’s order. When we asked for the rest of the food, they apologized but 30 minutes later, still no food. You shouldn’t have to wait this long for food that is as terrible as service.
