Went here on a Friday night. The place was not too busy but we had to wait about 35 minutes for food (appetizers didn’t come out until 28 minutes after ordering). The chowder actually has a small kick to it, so if you’re looking for traditional new England clam chowder, you might want to steer away from this.
The peach Brie appetizer is fairly good but the bread arrived cold.
When the food did arrive, I had to hunt down waiters for a steak knife. The steak arrived incorrectly so I had to wait additional time for them to cook a new order. The jambalaya was good and the portion size is large.
Overall, the staff were very understanding with these and other issues I didn’t address and comp’d the meal. Due to the doing that without asking, we will give this place another try for dinner.

Had a great dinner with family. Our server was very nice and accommodating, they allowed us to sit on the restaurant side before it closed due to the bar being too loud. Wings were good, but there was too much Old Bay seasoning on a set, very salty.

I celebrated my 62nd birthday and 42 years of federal government service on January 10, 2026 at T.J. Stones. We had 28 people in attendance in the private room, and it was cozy, warm, and the service was impeccable. The brunch was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed it, especially me. Thanks for making my day special. – Sheldonna

Currently sitting in TJ Stones and felt inclined to leave a review. It was packed upon arrival but the staff was very friendly, acknowledged us and sat us as soon as they could. We wanted to watch the football games so we waited for a seat in the bar area. The MOD spoke to us multiple times and thanked us for our patience. He was so kind and friendly. Our server was great, drinks were prompt and food was delicious and hot. The MOD visited us multiple times and said goodbye/thanked us as he left for the night. Great staff and great experience! They handled the chaos of a Saturday night rush seamlessly.

Food was great. Service friendly and prompt. Sitting in the main area is nice. Tables are cozy.
Last time we sat in a private room with a group and it was a scorcher. Everyone was sweating and had to be well over 80. We asked to crack the door but it only marginally helped.

Haven’t ever had a bad experience at T.J. Stone’s! Such a great atmosphere and the service is always incredible. Food is so much more than just traditional bar food. Amazing beer selection. Great cocktails, lots of TVs to watch the games, the list goes on. Highly recommend

very good food and ambiance! we had the cheesy tater tot for our appetizer— it wasn’t really traditional tator tots but it was delicious nonetheless. i had the fried chicken ciabatta sandwich which was SO yummy. my bf had the holiday burger; he described it as “weird but good, it had a lighter burger flavor due to the veggies so it felt more refreshing”. would come back again!

A hidden gem in Old Town! Exactly what a sports bar should be: plenty of TVs, reasonable prices, a great selection of cold beers, and generous portions you probably won’t finish. The burger was excellent, and the service was friendly and fast. My only suggestion would be to make sure the fries are fully cooked, as a few were underdone. Still, with the quality of the food and the welcoming vibe, I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Taco Tuesdays are the BEST. The tacos are a good size for the price compared to other places. Lots of options!

Everything was wonderful. The food was plentiful and filled with flavors. A great choice of both local and regular beers. I couldn’t finish my meal. Adrian, our waiter, was friendly and helpful. A great experience. We’ll be back before we leave.
