Poor service! Well I would have better rating if the lady could have out in my order in a timely manner after I explain led I don’t have much time before my flight and she said 10 minutes for udon noodles. So after ordering and patiently waiting for more than 10 minutes, she came to ask me what I ordered! she didn’t even out in the order. This is around 8:30am during my transition between flight and very few people in the place. Terrible service! Needless to say I walked out without eating anything.

Potentially the worst Katsu Don I’ve had. Soggy, chewy pork and wet rice for airport premium $. Dining at an airport is rarely a great experience, but this is far below the already low standard.

This place is solid! The food has always been great and the service is very good. Most of the negativity in these reviews is derived by a group of people who are in an airport in a rush and didn’t plan well and then take it out on the staff. Don’t fall for their bogus attitudes! Look at these pictures, how can you not love this food?!?

The service was great, but the sushi just isn’t worth the price. The rainbow roll was over twenty bucks when I’ve had grocery store rolls that were better crafted and higher quality. My Sapporo was warm and in a glass that tasted like dish soap. I can’t recommend this place.

Eat here if you want to get sick. Not sure where staff was washing their hands and no refrigeration in site. Sushi “chef”s have clearly never been trained on food safety. I already knew I wouldn’t want sushi from an airport so I had only ordered a beer, after seeing how the food was being prepared in sight of the customers I can only imagine the hygiene horrors behind kitchen.

Go elsewhere at the airport.

I ordered the Spicy Udon with beef. The beef was cheap, the broth was not spicy in the slightest and had an oily taste (and not a fish taste mind you). The Udon felt rubbery and smooth and didn’t seem to absorb any of the broth flavor, not that there was much anyway.

The portion size was also small, especially for the price.

They don’t have the sashimi salad anymore. So I ended up getting the shrimp tempura udon. The veggies inside are cucumber and zucchini which are weird for Japanese tempura. The soup was REALLY salty. But the server was very nice. Wouldn’t recommend. Homemade instant noodle would have been better.

The absolute worst miso soup and ramen I have ever tasted. It took forever to have my lukewarm miso served only to bite into pieces of un-rehydrated vegetable matter that stuck in my teeth. Miso soup should be served steaming hot, not nuked for 10 seconds and then served twenty minutes later. It also shouldn’t remind one of dishwater.
The ramen: it wasn’t ramen, it couldn’t have been. No ramen recipe in Japan would allow itself to be interpreted the way this restaurant cooked it. It too was lukewarm and probably shared the microwave with my ten-second miso soup. Unlike the miso though, my ramen was served thirty minutes later. My brain is, fortunately, blocking any memory of the actual taste.
I’ve savored miso soup and ramen in Japan for years, as well as in restaurants around the world. My Japanese wife cooks both with flavor that takes me back to a wonderful little family ramen house in Tokyo Station. The staff at Sora would do well to watch the movie Tampopo as well as the movie Eat Drink Man Woman. Both demonstrate the dedication required to prepare food worth serving and the responsibility of the diner to appreciate food prepared and served well.
The only bright spot that long night of flight delays was my server – professional, attentive, and cheerful.

Food: I ordered a chicken Katsu don which is way too sweet in Japanese standard. I don’t find it enjoyable to finish the bowl.

Service: fast and friendly

Atmosphere: nice seat and quietness.

Airport quality sushi, good, spicy tuna was spicy but not something worth $15.50.
Food was good though. Tad slow on service so only stop if you have a good 30-45min to spare so you don’t feel rushed if catching a flight.
