I highly, genuinely recommend it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
I was looking forward to have a good Colombian food here in Florida.
I ordered 3 chicken empanadas for my husband, they were ok not the best like we had back home in New Jersey.
I got myself a caldo de costilla and for me to read it the menu too fast my understanding was including arepa with cheese.
So the waitress came with the empanadas and my caldo with rice on the side and she left. 3-5 mins passed by i was still waiting my arepa thought they had forgotten about it. Since we sat at outside i cant look or wave to the waiter to come by to our table so i had to wait, wait and wait until different lady came out (she might’ve the manager or the owner I’m not sure) and asked us is everything ok.
So i explained her my confusion and she explained to me that they assumed most people will like it with rice.
I said to myself assumed is wrong, better ask customers which one they would like just for the safest choice ♀️ especially when they customers wasn’t Hispanic.
She told me if I still wanted the arepa I will get charged $1 more which I was ok with it.
I mean I LOVE arepa with cheese so $1 more I’m more than ok.
Sooooo when they brought my arepa with cheese I was like why this looks different.
I tried to eat it but the cheese that they used I’m not so sure what cheese was it.
But anyway they tried for give best service/ food and I tried their food but is just not for my likes.
Not to mention the caldo was also kind of salty for me, the price was also a bit high for a caldo that most of it just broth with one piece chunk of beef and one big potato for almost $18.
At the end of it, they didn’t charged the extra $1 for me which that was a nice things to do from them.
That was my own experience to tell.
