It was such a wonderful experience for our son to go to a restaurant and not have to ask a single question about what he could eat. For the first time in a long while, he was able to order anything on the menu without worry. Being able to enjoy chicken and waffles was a huge win and something he hasn’t been able to experience in years.
Yes, it’s a little more on the pricey side, but we completely understand that high-quality gluten-free ingredients cost more. The peace of mind alone is worth it.
We highly, highly recommend checking this place out — especially for anyone looking for a safe and delicious gluten-free dining experience!
I can’t eat fried foods in general and definitely can’t at regular restaurants but I had to have this sandwich!! And it did NOT disappoint!!! The staff were bubbly and upbeat. I will visit Jewels EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come up AZ. I absolutely love this spot!
My single real issue is the hours of operation. 9a to 3p. Those hours, for me, mean I can’t solicit their business during the week–I’m already working by the time they open and I’m still working when they close. I suppose they’re good as a lunch only place and a late brunch place on the weekend. Still, a place for breakfast and coffee in the morning would be nice.
Bottom line, I am going back, which is really the only important thing. They’re worth an occasional visit even if they won’t work as my *regular place*.
