Bustling chain serving Cajun-style seafood in a casual space with a nautical vibe.

food was pretty fire. ordered the combo #1 with some extras and drinks, got it in like under 10 mins. the shrimp was pretty huge but the crawfish doesn’t scream fresh to me. our waiter was super attentive though and made sure we had everything we needed. only other thing is that you can only get one flavor for your boil. didn’t try them but the garlic noodles seemed like they’d taste good

Food was good but the service was budussy. Not only did they not check up on us once but also they didn’t give me a refill after I choked on a shrimp. Overall the servers need to be more respectful. I still left a tip btw

The food was fantastic. Ordered 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb of clams and lobster, garlic noodles, steamed broccoli and fried chicken wings. I would come back just for the garlic noodles and wings. They are that good. I only got pics of the noodles and broccoli.
Service was prompt and attentive.
Atmosphere was similar to other kickin crab locations.
Parking can be difficult. There’s plenty of spots but this plaza gets a ton of foot traffic especially on the weekends.

We found The Kickin’ Crab in Carrollton right before moving around the corner, and honestly, it was a great find. The food was amazing and the combos were priced really well. We ordered 3 pounds of headless shrimp with corn and potatoes. We had to substitute the sausage since we keep it halal, and they were cool about it.
The garlic noodles were really good—definitely full of flavor—but to be honest, $15 just for noodles felt a bit much. We also got an order of fries (they use the thinner kind), and a catfish basket which was solid too.
It was a little loud inside, but the service was fast and really friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for a big family. We went with medium spice and it was just right—not too much, not too little.
Would definitely go back again

Went here on a Friday and it was pretty busy but got a seat for 8 within 30 minutes which was good. I ordered the snow crab combo medium Kickin style, pound of clams medium Kickin style, and half pound of crab legs for my daughter with no seasoning. When the food came out, they brought out the clams and the unseasoned half pound crab leg, but what was supposed to be our snow crab combo was just a bag with unseasoned crab, no corn, no sausage, no potato. We brought this to the servers attention who said he would make it right and took the bag of unseasoned crab to add the rest of the combo with the flavor I asked for. The server brings the waitress, Tessa, who shows us the ticket and she said she thinks someone may have erased the first order or something and then said it’s ok she’ll pay for it and walks away. No one really comes to check on us for a while so when I see Tessa, I call her over and ask her if she has our corrected order. She proceeds to act like she has no idea what we’re talking about and asks us if we want to place another order….. WHY would we place another order when we never even got the correct order in the first place. She goes and grabs the server who is also confused when we ask about our order because he’s looking at the ticket that is showing the order for unseasoned crab legs only even though they took the bag back “to make it right”. At this point everyone at our table is done eating and Tessa comes back to ask me if the receipt is correct which had the Snow crab combo on it even though we didn’t even receive it and she said she would comp it earlier. So I tell her we didn’t even get the combo yet and she said it’s coming. It finally comes and tastes fine but I’m already annoyed at this point and don’t feel like bringing up the fact that she said she would pay for the mix up since she probably forgot what she said like she did earlier! the rest of our party had to wait for us to finish the food which was such an inconvenience and ruined our experience. I would recommend a different waiter/waitress if you come here since this is not the first time she has messed up our groups order.

I ordered a shrimp boil from Kickin’ Crab and this was honestly the nastiest order I’ve ever gotten. Every shrimp was still full of poop, and the shrimp were mushy on top of that. Paid $24.14 for this mess and DoorDash won’t even refund me. I’m beyond pissed this was completely unacceptable.

Always a great experience. We live getting the combo #2 with mussels and snow crab with the kickin crab seasoning as well as an order of a dozen oysters. Be prepared to spend ~$175 for this meal for 2.

So unworth it, one starring for visibility. 46.99 for two people and not that full. Seasoning service and atmosphere was good though. Paying 20-30 for not that much food, not very justified for its price. Additionally the “sausage” is just small slices and not a full link. Potatoes are very small too.

The best freaking seafood place ever. If I can rate them 10 stars I would that’s how good they are. The service, the workers they are all TOP TIER I love it & recommend people to eat here vibe and all is excellent. $160 on broils & drinks is deftly not bad at all. I recommend everyone to check them out.

This was a solid experience, but had its ups and downs. I had a dozen oysters which were not very cold and not tasty at all, they were quite muddy. It was disappointing. I also had the king crab which was good but the sausage was actually better. I got the kickin’ crab sauce and loved it with the sausage. My daughter had had on shrimp and I tried one and it was good, but nothing to really write home about. We only got water to drink, I don’t even know if they had alcoholic beverages, but it was hard to get our water glasses refilled. The food came out quickly but that’s kind of the end of seeing anybody to help us without trying to grab somebody walking by.
