Well we wanted to try this place for their seafood but wasn’t really blown away by it. We order a dozen oysters, the crab and shrimp boil, and 3 lbs of crawfish. The oysters tasted fine. But crab and shrimp boil wasn’t that great. You could tell it was old and not fresh. The crab had a really really strong fishy taste and didn’t snap when cracking it. The shrimp was the same and would break apart as you peeled it, it was kind of gross to be honest. The crawfish wasn’t the best either. Some were completely crushed and then we had just some shells in the batch. All in all I really had high hopes for this place but let down by the quality of food, for $150 I honestly thought it would have been better. The serve was great and friendly and did a great job. At least they have that going for them. Thanks for reading my honest review of the place.

From the moment we walked in, everything about our evening was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service—especially from our server Alexis—was nothing short of outstanding.
Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You could truly taste the care and quality in each bite. But what made the night unforgettable was Alexis. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time—she elevated our whole experience.
It’s been years since we’ve had a dining experience this good. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending this place to everyone we know!

I tried the blackened rainbow trout and enjoyed it. At $21, it felt a bit pricey for the portion size compared to similar restaurants nearby, but the dish itself was well prepared. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d definitely eat there again.

I recently visited Fish City Grill and had mixed feelings about the experience. The ambiance was good — there was live music tucked into the corner by the window, and people were clearly enjoying themselves. It had a fun, lively vibe that made the space feel inviting.
We started with the calamari, which was flavorful and crispy — definitely the highlight of the meal. I also ordered tacos, and while they were good, they missed the mark on flavor and felt a bit bland overall.
The fish and chips was what I was most excited about, but unfortunately it was a big miss. The breading came out soggy, and the plate barely had any fries — which is disappointing considering “chips” is literally in the name of the dish. For a $20 plate, I expected more in both quality and portion.
The service felt rushed, even though there wasn’t a line and I was hoping to sit back and enjoy the music. Overall, it felt a bit overpriced for the food and level of service. I left wishing the experience had matched the atmosphere. At least the live music added something positive to the evening.

I’m going to make this short and simple.
We sat at the bar to eat. The bartender was the best! She was so sweet, we talked like we were old friends. I would go back just for her! We ordered tuna tartar, oysters, crab legs and shrimp. The best we’ve had with being on the coast! We will definitely dive an hour to come back.

I took my son to Fish City Grill (his favorite) yesterday to celebrate his birthday. After a recent accident I’m now using a walker so my experience was a little different. I’m now seeing how accessible businesses are or are not. Fish City Grill is in the “are not” category. It was dark so we may have not seen the area, but there was no designated handicap parking and high curbs with no easy access area. Once inside, there was not enough space between tables for the four of us to be seated. I asked to be seated at the table near the door and eventually the host agreed. Please ask someone to give you some tips to also host customers with challenges better.
Everything else – food, service, atmosphere- were excellent.

Our server, Addison, was amazing. Since this was our first time here, the general manager brought us a sample of the oyster nachos their 4 soups. All were amazing! We both ordered off the monthly special board. I had the seared red snapper with dirty rice and roasted vegetables. My wife had the shrimp and lobster ravioli, which the GM said they would be out of soon (sad face). Everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

First time to eat at Fish City and the staff were so kind to answer all my questions. I had the yummy shrimp & cab queso, great appetizer! I sampled four soups that were yummy too. My favorite two were the clam chowder & roasted jalapeno. I would have never tried the roasted jalapeno, but it was delicious. My main course I ordered jumbo lump crab cake was perfect. Great flavor! Will be back.

This was our first visit to Fish City and it didn’t disappoint. Mollie our server was fantastic. As newcomers they brought us samples of the oyster nacho and small sampling of each soup. The crab bisque was a big hit with our table. We had Snow Crab Broil, Charbroilled Oysters, fried gulf shrimp, and finished with key lime pie. Everything was great. We will be back
