Excellent food. Attentive, friendly staff. I had the chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes. The pot pie was as advertised, creamy, steaming hot and delicious. The mashed potatoes were amazing! Our server checked in appropriately. Not too much, not too little.

Visited Johnny Lukes Kitchen Bar in May, and it was an absolute delight! Our waitress, Morgan, was a total rock star—attentive, friendly, and made the experience so enjoyable. The rest of the staff was equally impressive, seamlessly helping each other to keep everything running smoothly. The food selection was fantastic, with something for everyone, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The drinks? Top-notch, perfectly crafted, and a highlight of the evening. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and stellar service!

I would give it a 4-5 star for when I go for lunch but went on valentines day for dinner menu and it wasn’t good at all besides the Mac and cheese. Wife got steak medium rare and it came out well done lamb chops were well over cooked mashed potatoes were super dry as well. Pretty disappointing cause I love there lunch hours and been many times and never been bad.

Just a random place we visited for lunch on our vacation. I had the meatball sandwich and my husband had the chicken pot pie. They were soooo yummy! We both had a cup of the she crab soup aa well. I had a blood orange based margarita as well that disappeared from my glass all too soon because it was that good. Our waitress, Felicity, was both kind and attentive. I tagged the spot in our pictures on Facebook so I’d remember to return if we were ever vacationing in the area again. The restaurant is on the right side of the building, not easy to spot from the road but signage is visible. The inside of the restaurant was quaint with a nice ambiance. There is a 2nd floor loft as well but it was closed during our visit. Great spot!!

Our server was so friendly and recommended so many items on the drink menu that we did order. They were all good. Especially the espresso Martini.
We did not order any food items, but the prices did seem a bit high.

As luck would have it this gem was next to my hotel room. I flew in for a 2 day install down the road. The food was delicious. My bartender Jewel was very attentive and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were on point. The braised short ribs melted like butter in my mouth. The calamari with the sweet Thai sauce was delicious. I took the Ahi Tuna app back to the room as a late night snack. I could have eaten that as a meal in larger quantities. So delicious! The extensive draft beer selection was impressive. The Red Oak was nice. Highly recommended!

Looking to try a new restaurant in Wilmington and Johnny Luke’s menu looked promising.
We arrived around 11:30 and greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Restaurant about 1/2 full, not swamped. Ambiance was nice.
Servers walked by and no one acknowledge us, said Hi or brought water. 10 min later we got up and left. Not a great first impression
We may try our luck again in the future.

It was my first time here and let me tell you, I had a great time! The atmosphere is amazing, fun, so cute and relaxing. I came on wine Wednesday which was perfect since I wanted a riesling! Got my bottle 1/2 off! Becca was so patient with my friend and I on deciding what to eat. She even recommended the pork nachos an appetizer which we got, and yes she was right, delicious! Thank you so much Becca for being so sweet and doing a phenomenal job! We will be back and asking for Becca everytime!

This place was recommended for lunch. Ordered a cup of She Crab Soup and a Black & Bleu Angus Burger with bacon. The food was great! I would like to return and try the seafood on the dinner menu.

This was such a good spot for a casual meal! We dined on the outdoor patio on the second level. While there isn’t a good view, it’s still a really great atmosphere. The lights and fans were a nice touch. I had a vegetarian sandwich (goat cheese, mozzarella, avo, and spinach with pesto) that was delish! My friend ordered the crab cakes and said they were the best she’d had in a long time. Our cocktails were yummy and our server was lovely. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Wilmington!
