This place was totally booked up on a Friday night, but we got extremely lucky that bar seating opened up as we arrived. We very much enjoyed sitting near the warm, open-style kitchen. They had a handful of delicious vegetarian options including the house-made hummus platter and a bruschetta special. The rest of the group loved the filet tips and burger. Our group went all out of food after a long day skiing and really appreciated how appropriately priced everything was. Would definitely visit again!!

We love trying new to us restaurants and this place did not disappoint. Located off the Donegal exit of the PA turnpike, this restaurant is easy to find and offers a wonderful view. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. The pork belly deviled eggs and mushroom soup alone were worth the trip. This restaurant will definitely be on our return list!

5 Stars – Consistently Excellent: The Best Roasted Mushroom Soup in the Region

This is truly a 5 Star local favorite. Out of the Fire offers a wonderful dining atmosphere, with appealing indoor and outdoor seating areas that make it perfect for any occasion. The experience from start to finish is seamless: the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the delivery of the food is prompt, ensuring every plate is served hot and fresh.

The dish that makes this restaurant legendary is the Signature Roasted Mushroom Soup. It is an absolutely essential order, deeply flavorful, wonderfully creamy, and undeniably the best I’ve ever tasted. Having dined here twice, I can attest to the consistent quality and high standards. Out of the Fire is worth planning a trip around, you won’t regret stopping here.

Hands down the best meal we have ever had. We showed up without a reservation and were told our wait would be 45 minutes, however we were seated within 5. I ordered the ribeye with blue cheese sauce and my wife ordered the scallops and fried green tomatoes. We live 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh, but will definitely be making a reservation and a return visit in the future!

Stop for a quick bite on my way home. French press coffee was strong and smooth with excellent flavor and I will make it a point to go back for another Ruben with their in house made pastrami. Highly reccomend

This is the best food in the area. Dishes are creative and very well executed. Prices on the lunch menu are very reasonable. Any dish with the smoked salmon is a must try. Great beer, wine and mixed drink selection.

We always seem to be in a hurry when heading up or down the mountain, but a trusted friend highly recommended we take the time to stop here for dinner. What a great find! Absolutely delicious high quality food. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I, ravenous from a Fallingwater tour, decided on this place for lunch and it would be an understatement to say that it hit the spot. I had the best smash burger of probably my life and she enjoyed a delicious reuben (with an addition of the pickles I didn’t want on my burger). Service was lovely & attentive. Bonus points for the restaurant’s music selection: Jim Croce and Neil Young were much appreciated.
