Big Fish Dive Club
We stopped by for its Happy Hours and tried a few dishes. The baby back ribs were 90% tender (one end got burnt a bit) and pretty tasty. The. Asparagus were just okay. The cold Kirin draft was delightful to the taste bud. The service was good and the sitting area was confortable that we ate and enjoyed people (and many doggies) watching. It is a pretty good afternoon light fare experience in the heart of Waikiki.

My first time here and I was very happy to have come. My buddy had talked about this place and, especially the bone marrow, so I had to come.
We sat at the bar and our bartender, Kris was amazing. It was a Wednesday night and the bar and the dining room was full, and she was by herself, and handled everything like a champ.
They have my favorite beer on tap (Kirin), along with several others, as well as a full cocktail and wine menu. The food is really good, and I’m so happy that they had the bone marrow that I came for (we ordered the last one), and it was great. I learned that they acquired the rights to the recipe for Tony Roma’s ribs, so we ordered a tasting bite, and it was great. It had a slightly more tangy, sour note than I remember, but they were fall off the bone tender and very tasty.
The service is great and the food and drinks as well. It’s definitely a place worth coming to, and I will be here again soon.

What can I say… a delightful place, simple yet unique, with good background music that doesn’t disturb the customers. The dishes, from tapas to paella, are very good.
A special thanks to Gigi, the waiter who looked after us, very professional… it was immediately evident in the way he presented the wine.
It’s a shame our trip ends here, otherwise we would have returned. See you next year in November,

Fire Grill is officially one of my favorite places to eat, and a huge reason is our server, Dominique. From the moment we sat down, he was on it — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely amazing at what he does.
He didn’t just take our order… he took care of us.
Dominique anticipated what we needed before we even asked, checked on us at the perfect times, and made the entire experience feel effortless. His service was professional, friendly, and honestly the best I’ve had anywhere on island.
The food was great, but Dominique made the night unforgettable. Fire Grill is lucky to have someone who represents the restaurant with that level of excellence. If anyone deserves a raise or recognition, it’s him.

It’s a great meal and the baby back ribs here are absolutely delicious. On top of that, our server Alden made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks to his friendly and attentive service, we had a wonderful time. 🙂

We went there for their famous smoked prime rib eye. It was great and perfectly cooked. You could taste just the right amount of smoke but which comes with a bit of a trade off. I like my prime ribs and rib eyes more seasoned which is hard to do if you want the smoke flavor to come through. It was still great though! We also had the lobster tail plate and I just didn’t expect that the lobster tails to be this awesome! It is probably the best I’ve ever had, so good that even though we live on the west side I’ll be more than happy to come back just for those awesome crustaceans! Ther service was extremely friendly and the dessert, a Valentine’s Day special, was unbelievably good!
We love this place and we’ll be back! The next thing we’ll be trying is the BBQ ribs because that meaty, tangy smell was making me drool while we we’re there!

Fire Grill Waikiki was a decision made by my husband and I to try since we were both wanting a steakhouse dinner on our last night in Honolulu. The atmosphere at Fire Grill in Waikiki was great, making for easy conversation. However, the service was noticeably slow; the restaurant appeared to be running a full house without enough staff, leading to a feeling of chaos that was clearly due to understaffing. Our waitress, even though she was extremely busy, catered to our needs as good as she possibly could. She was outstanding despite the high and flux of consumers present within the restaurant. Despite the service challenges, the food was quite good for the price—We ended up ordering the seafood paella and the 11 oz ribeye. My husband was full, and I was satisfied with the meal.

Had a lovely dinner with my future husband on Saturday night. The place was lively but not overcrowded. Food came out in a timely manner and was fresh, I had the salmon and he had the local catch which was swordfish. The bone marrow appetizer was also quite tasty. What really made our night was our server, Aman. He looked after us well and we shared a great conversation about California and Hawaii.

The service was great! The waiter was SUPER Friendly and awesome! We felt really comfortable. The waiter asked what the occasion was being in Oahu. We told him it was our anniversary and late honeymoon. After dinner he surprised us with two plates of ice cream brownies! Thank you guys!
