Wow the first Dunkin’. Certainly had that old timey feel inside, with the classic logos displayed on the wall, bar seats, and old style writing on the front t of the store.
I didn’t have a problem with the staff, they were nice and accommodating. Thanks!

Cute Dunkin Donuts. My daughter took my here because she knows I love coffee and wanted me to see this location. Cute seating areas. Vintage Dunkin Memorabilia.

I run on Dunkin but this location sadly isn’t the best which is sad since it’s their first location. It is however always clean which I do appreciate. I think I just expected more.

WOW! What a horrible experience. The lady on the register had no idea how their drinks were made and was very unfriendly. For starters, the lights outside were off (hey! It happens if they have to turn them on, maybe they forgot, I will let that one slide) Then when I get inside I asked for an item that was advertised all over and she tells me “We no-longer carry it” (not even politely by the way) -Strike One- Right after this I asked for a frozen drink, she tells me that their machine that made the frozen drinks was “broken” (It looked like they were cleaning it?) -Strike Two- Lastly, I asked for a Signature Pumpkin Latte, and she turns to the other employee and asks “We don’t need the frozen drinks machine to make that one right?” Ummm, no, you don’t. It’s espresso, pumpkin flavor and milk. They gave me the “latte” and didn’t even use espresso!!! It was plain coffee! (I watched it being made) – strike three- Overall it was a horrible experience. You are THE FIRST DUNKIN!! You should provide an experience that represents the brand and makes customers feel at home.

I was excited to stop by this “landmark” while on vacation, but I left very disappointed. When I asked about the jelly-filled munchkins, the employee was rude and acted like my question was an inconvenience. Definitely not the friendly experience I expected or hoped for.

One of the staff by the name of Shay stuck her crusty fingers in my food resulting me to get a new doughnut it’s truly unacceptable especially when the girl had beef with me. So if the problem could be taken care of appropriately thank you.

It’s neat that the first Dunkin’ ever is right here in Quincy. There were closer Dunkin’ locations, but I went to this one solely for that reason. The outside has more of a retro feel because of the original logo. The parking lot is small, and there aren’t that many tables inside, but there were a handful of people on a weekday evening. My online order took a bit of time to prepare, but my drink seemed to have been prepped with care, as it came out looking pretty nice.
– Small Iced Churro Signature Latte ($4.19): All of the churro flavor was in the whipped cream, but I liked the drink overall, and the price was reasonable.
– French Cruller Donut ($1.59): The donut was so small. It seems shrinkflation has hit everywhere, as the donut I got the other day from another Dunkin’ was also much smaller than I remembered. However, the taste was good. It also tasted good dipped in my latte.
Overall, this is probably one of the better Dunkin’ locations in the area: no issues with service, decent selection of donuts still available even later in the day, and clean interior.

This location is the first and original Dunkin’ Donuts. Opened in 1950, this location was the beginning of the huge franchise that is a staple of the New England area. Obviously, it has been modernized and looks similar to your average Dunkin’ shop. The notable differences are the signage on site that proudly displays the story of founder Bill Rosenberg and credence to this location being the official birthplace of Dunkin’.
The food and coffee are delicious, just like any other Dunkin’. Service was fast and friendly on my visit. They have a small parking lot, so during busy hours, it might be difficult to find parking. The shop itself is rather small, but it was clean with no visible issues.
This is a nice little stop off if you’re in the area and are a fan of Dunkin’. Some photo ops, and a tasty meal are guaranteed. And if you didn’t know, America runs on Dunkin’!

Since we are just on the way to plymouth rock, why not stop by quincy….to the first Dunkin’ Donuts store.
Donuts variety similar to the rest i guess. Just you are able to get some photos with the first store with original signage that has been refurbished .

came in 12/14 for a cookie butter iced latte, old lady taking my order was confused and needed help. She slid my coffee across the counter and walked away “here” . Confused, I received an iced coffee with chocolate powder on top, whip, and drizzle, not a latte. I asked the man standing there if this was my drink, the lady over hears and rolls her eyes “you said cloud latte” and sighs. He tells me he doesn’t even have cookie butter flavor. Overwhelmed, I tell him it’s okay don’t worry about it and leave in tears. Why be both miserable and unemphatic?
