Horrible!! don’t waste your money going here please! I wasted mine twice thinking maybe they were having a bad day! No! It got way worse the chicken is disgusting! I paid 70$ for crap we won’t eat! Got the wrong food too!! I will never everrrr eat at this location again!

Wish I could give no stars! Ordered a 6 piece wings with red beans. Also ordered an additional side of mashed potatoes. Paid for the extra side but when I got home, no side! Asked what kind of sauce I wanted—-also didn’t get that. The wings were bright pink in the middle! Hmmm! Watched an employee bring food out to customers and she never made eye contact or said a word. Maybe Lawrence has a better place. When this first opened it was good—-now it’s terrible and honestly today it was a complete rip off!

Let me tell you, and please listen people. This is the single worst place to eat I have ever seen. The fries were bland and had no flavor at all. My biscuits didn’t have glaze on them and we’re kind of dry. The mash potatoes were horrible and tasted so disgusting on both gravy and them. Their chicken has no flavor either on the breading and when you get to the meat its not even worth it. Will not be eating here ever again. Highly recommended KFC!

KDA/KDHE REALLY NEEDS to PAY THIS PLACE A VISIT. They are giving out old food which could cause a lot of illnesses. I’m sure the food sitting on their cage rite now is old! They just sent me some & I had to end up going to work on an empty stomach. I took pics for DD AND threw the entire bag in the trash! Pathetic! Either this location isn’t busy enough or the employees flat don’t care what they hand/send out to the customers. $21.00 is a bit much for “lunch” in this economy. . . . ..Don’t be up there messing over peoples food! You would think, since this is the ONLY Popeyes in Topeka, they would be on their game right? Wrong! When they were behind before or made a mistake, they would apologize and make it right. There was a new girl, my last visit, a short latina with her hair in a ponytail, absolutely rude! She had zero customer service skills, didn’t smile, didn’t say thank you, had no business working with customers face to face. After dealing with her, I asked for a refund and deleted the app. I am officially DONE!

The drive thru is where they make their money.
The lady that took my order was really nice. It only took 5 minutes to get my order.
So I sat down in the dining room. It was totally empty. The floors could use some love.
The #1 Spicy Chicken Combo. Well, the chicken was hot. Kinda over cooked. The fries was okay.
So I would come back because there is no waiting inside.

I did a mobile order and it took 45 minutes to get my order. Slowest service ever. Chicken Tenders were like leather (photos). I ordered two bone in wings and received one. It took me over three years to return to this Popeyes because they kept getting confused between an original and spicy chicken sandwich. Long story on that one. But I will never return to this Popeyes. Worst ever.
