The flavor on all of our meals was great! I got The Hoosier (pork tenderloin) and it was really good! My husband and kids all liked the flavor of their burgers. The spicy cheese curds and tots were also delicious.
My negatives are that the burger patty for the kids cheeseburger were a lot smaller than the bun. The service was slow throughout our experience.
I ordered a smoked old fashion to drink. The presentation and smoked flavor were great.
We ordered Fries and Nashville Fries to share. We loved the Nashville fries and ate more than we anticipated.
I ordered the diplomat with bacon and everything minus tomato slices. The burger was very good, but it was very messy.
Service was alright. We did both run out of our drinks and have to wait for a while for refills on a slow evening. I believe the waiter we had was just chatting with other employees in the kitchen. It’s not a huge deal. People are human.
We sat a table across from the bar. 2 seats were booth-style seats, and 2 seats were chairs. We were there ~2.5 hours and the seats were comfortable the whole time.
The bar has a good variety of beers on draft. A friend in my group was impressed they had Dragons Milk on tap – I don’t know if that is rare in Indiana. The staff returned at a good frequency when our water or beer was low.
For food, each of us ordered burgers, and we split a large-size order of the PB&J fries. The burgers were good, and I liked all the options they had. The PB&J fries were very good and I definitely recommend that as a side. The large size was enough to split among the 3 of us. The burgers do not come with sides included, so I think you should order a side if you go here for lunch and want to be full.
There restaurant wasn’t too busy, so although my group was here for a long time, the staff were not trying to rush us out, they were friendly and came to the table to check on us at a good frequency.
There are bathrooms available, near the entrance. They were clean and well-maintained.
The parking lot seems to be on the small side. I found a parking space with no problem, but I feel like parking could be a challenge during a busy time. I don’t know enough about the area to suggest alternate parking, but think about that if you’re planning to come here during a lunch or dinner rush etc.
Overall, it was a good experience with good food, and friendly staff. I would recommend this to people passing through or visiting Warsaw.
